Having to leave for good
 

I got a layoff notice this week after 15 years with the same company and won't have time to do anything other than focus on getting and holding a new job.

So because of this I have already canceled my account with Disney.

It was fun playing and talking with all of you. Take care of yourselves.

Sorry to hear about that, Michael. Good luck with your job search. My dad is going through the same thing right now so I can understand a bit. Things will get better.

Let us hope your "Having to leave for good" is only "Having to leave for a short time" - best of luck, and stay strong - its not easy (I did a 2 year unemployment stint back in the 80's) but I always find the other end turns out better :)

Well, this be a sad thing mate, but ye shall never be forgotten friend....

I got layed off after I left, but I have a new job in a new business(better paying too)

But I do hope that if you ever can get a chance, feel free to come back and pay us a visit.

I'm sorry to see you go. I won't delete you from the guild, so if you ever just want to drop in and say Hi, or check up on things, you can. You know I would never remove a guildmate just because they dropped to basic!

I was recently in similar situation, was with my prior company 16 years. I was lucky and got things turned back around quickly. Hang in there mate! We'll keep a stool dusted off for ye, and a few gold pieces on yer tab at the Rooster.
