Better for what? For BASIC, cutlass. :-)

Dang this is the hardest poll. But I would have to keep it short and say cutlass :D

This is a hard one to answer, they each serve a different purpose. I like the cutlass for one on one and the staff when I have more than one enemy on me. So if I can say both, that's my answer.

IMO, the cutlass is by far more useful in more situations than the staff.

The cutlass is nearly as devasting in a one on one situation as well.

On my first pirate - the Cutlass was the first to master... I was a mad-man with that thing and today even on pirate 4 - though the Staff is very handy in groups - theres no replacing the cutlass in single combat :)

I love my cutlass and that is why it will be the last thing that I master. I am a just under 1K to mastering it but I refuse to do it because I love it so much, lol! And idk why but I don't care for the pistol and nades very much. So I have a lot of work to get those to be mastered because nades are in the teens and the pistol I believe is a 21. Other than those three I am basically done! So of all my weapons? The cutlass is the best!!!!

I voted staff, however it all depends on the situation. If I'm boarding a high level flag ship or taking on multiple enemies at once....it's staff time. One on one combat...cutlass.

If I'm surrounded by baddies the staff is the weapon of choice. For one on one the cutlass is cool. :stgrin:

i hate the staff unvoodoo efficient love the cutlass cant beat it :degen:

I love my staff. I went from level 1 to level 18 (love double rep!!) in six hours. It's the best and helped me a lot.
