4 gig. 3.6 that's useful. Running Vista. Yup, 8 gig is only good if your running a 64 bit OS.

4GB. The 512 MB is either your L2 cache, or your video card's RAM, most likely.

1 GB... and each pirates.exe I have running currently uses 460MB active memory (So I can run two fairly smoothly - or one easy if the other is min. on the system tray).
