POTC Cell Phone Game
 

Just curious as to how many have tried this new POTC game out from your cell phone.....while at work.

cell phone ..........mine stay in the truck it more .....of a emergency thing...lol dont feel the need to stay connected. so i voted no

i wish they had come out with a game that didnt require you to be on the internet to play. not all of us have unlimited airtime, ya know. =]

Very true...if you don't have an all you can eat plan, those graphics start eating away at $$ on your data usage.

imo i feel that they should be work on the online game not working on a phone version....we have more ppl online play that need more content and something to do...we that play alot know that there is not much left to do, so why should we eat away the minutes that we have on our phones....like i said b4 jmo :beer: so I voted no

We can only hope these custom ship options they placed in the cell phone game are coming to POTC online. Heck, even the PSP versions of the POTC games have things the online version should have.

I have a 3G phone with unlimited data usage and I still found this game to be slow, click-thru's often resulted in bad page loads that had to be refreshed and generally boring. Bottom line is that it is a text sailing game with some minor graphics.

I was tinkering around with it today (at lunch of course) and found it to be a bit slow at times. When I tried to sail to Padre it said it would take ten minutes and offered me other things to do in the meantime. Since I don't have an unlimited data plan, I logged out and then came back later. Not much action as previously stated...mostly pictures and text. Something to do when you are absolutely bored.....

I do not have a data plan on my cell phone, so i have not played from work, But i do love the new game. I am using a WML Browser on my computer to run the game as if it was a cell phone. This works great and runs fast. A Fun simple game i can play while watching TV (TV is on my Computer). It fun to earn fast gold, new music and the new Cannons of the Deep Treasures.

mine is stuck in one account i can not switch from account to account . anyone know how to change from account to account ?
