Quick Question

Is there any way for Basic Members to get new clothes and accessories?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can't.

Basic members can do the clothing quests. They can get rare & random clothing drops from defeating enemies (at least, they used to. Haven't in a long time now though.) But to purchase and wear items, they need to be unlimited access members (at least for a month) or be linked to a paid account. I don't recommend the linked-accounts glitch, as it doesn't last and usually will get both accounts suspended. But getting a 90-day game card works well.

So I only need a membership for a month, buy all the clothes I want, then cancel the membership?
I still get to keep the clothes?

Yes, you can keep them, but it automaticlly switches you back to your old clothes first. I think, sometimes, if you get lucky one or two might stay.

Isn't there a guide here on POF that tells us how to link accounts?
If we get suspended for linking accounts I think that guide would be better off deleted.

When it automatically switches back to your old clothes, does that mean that you can't wear the clothes you bought?

Thats correct - once you revert back to basic - it puts your old clothes back on (which is why you cant sell them)...

There is no problem linking accounts - there is a problem linking accounts outside your immediate family. If you discuss linking accounts in-game and link up with another player, you're likely to get caught.

Was wondering when this subject was going to surface. With 8 months of absolutely nothing to do, and so many leaving the game, I have been expecting to see a lot of this. Guild friends and such that are leaving the game with nothing to do are going to offer their accounts/account info to friends since they don't care any more.

As well as some rogue accounts running around that players get suspended, can use in their guild type things while suspended.
