TEST Release Notes - June 13 2008

We have temporarily removed privateering from the test server in order to make some improvements. Not to worry...it will be back up soon! In the meantime, we hope you can help us test a special surprise that we have planned for the 4th of July. From 12:01 AM on Saturday, June 14, until midnight on Sunday, June 15, fireworks can be found in the nighttime sky around Tortuga, Port Royal, and Padres Del Fuego. If you see anything wrong with our fireworks display, please let us know by using the in-game feedback form. Thanks.

Hmmm...wonder if they are gonna use the same fireworks they use on Toontown?

Every year on July 4th, they have a fireworks display on every hour in each playground.

I'd doubt that they would, LadyF. While I'm not putting it past Disney to do something like that, the graphics have to much of a drastic differential from POTCO to be used in the game and look decent. ^^

yes but u have to think like disney it would save so much money just to copy toontown fireworks programming and paste it on potco and tweak it so it works lol saves money :P

Oh, I so hope that they don't - but was just wondering. Those of us who have played TT for a long time, know how they can be with some of these things.

I'm hoping for something new and fitting for POTCO myself.

Chris, they usually 'test' the fireworks first and then once they are sure (or close to sure) they work, then on July 4th, they are added to Open.

im gonna have to go with chris on this but hey you never know
and chris im sure they are gonna put them on open soon enough
LadyF beat me too it tho:b ;)

i think they should put other things in the sky too just on a regular basis birds storms ect.
