When I starting POTCO in 2007 I found that I loved sailing and sinking ships initially,.. I was obsessed with the sailiing part.
I saw a Pirate Names Maximvs with a Big War Galleon and I was so envious.
Our family had 4 unlimited accounts then (I ended up with 12 accounts at the high point), My accounts and 3 others of my kids.
I hit sailing level 15 in no time,.. actually I believe it was level 20 to get a war ship back then,.. well,.. the big problem was I didn't
even have enough gold for my first War Ship.... so what does any strategic pirate POTCO addicted Dad do,.....

Bribes his kids with real money for the gold in their potco account. :laughks2:


I convinced 10 year old daughter to give me her 18 k in gold for 12 dollars in cash,... I gave my 8 year old son 6 dollars
for his 12k in gold and our 14 year old daughter got 10 dollars for her 15k in gold.

Well - this answers my question from the Docs last night :) Though my first ship was a War Frigate, My Second about two weeks later was a War Galeon :D

No you know when your wife plays to much when she dresses up like her pirate and post it on the shanity. Then my son has her jar of dirt.

You originally bought two yearly subscriptions, one for each of your kids;
then added two basic accounts so you could play alongside them;
then when they left the game you kept all four accounts and have mastered three pirates and are working on your fourth and fifth;
then you signed up for Test and found you have 8 pirate slots in two accounts and have already filled up 6 slots making new pirates to test everything.

Ummm..and you know you're an addict when you have one PC on Open, and one PC on Test, and are holding conversations about the glitch testing on both.
