Very, um Festive? It's a nice touch, but it's lacking something. Perhaps a nice big tree in the Tortuga town square?

I saw a seagull on the wharf at PR yesterday with a Santa Hat! But he had just flown in from the North Pole to get warm...

LOL, wouldn't it be cool if they did have big Christmas trees in the towns, and then at a certain time, boom, they all turn into stumps and terrorize the towns? Pirates to the rescue!!

OMG disney has totally out done themselves, I mean I was swept away in the holiday spirit by their many decorations....Wow, It must have taken them forever to accomplish that.

Lets give them a round of appluase for making it totally worth while.

Actually, I find these decorations quite dangerous, for many reasons. These are....

1. Notice, they are almost the same red as the Navy outfits. Is big D tring to cause a Navy uprising?!
2. Take for example that ribbion that hangs down between the Trading Company and the Tailor in Tortuga. It hangs down too low! If a tall pirate just happens to walk by, they will choke!
3. Did you happen to read the little tag on the back? They can catch flames really easily! What happens if somebody who just got their staff gets flaming skull happy and one of them hits these! It will be the Fourth of July Party all over again! How do you think they lit all those fireworks at once?
4. If they just happen to bring out the Christmas tree :xmastree:, stumps will swim over from Cutthroat and attack all the islands to avenge their fallen brethern!

As you can see, these decorations are dangerous. I say, we rally our guilds, collect them all, throw them in the ocean, and then make Del a sandwhich! Lets do this! :plunder:

Actually, I think they are fine decorations. Would prefer they not spend to much time on such trivial things and focus where the game needs more attention.

Alright, call me a glass half empty type, go on...you can. All I gotta say is, very unpiratey and pfft. At least they used palm frawns and not pine.

I think the taverns on PDF look very Christmasey....and the towns have gotten a boost in decorations since I was onsite this afternoon. Maybe they are going server by server....I dunno.

Just a note for everyone wanting Christmas trees, don't forget that lights and sparkly garland weren't exactly available in the time of pirates. :arrca3:

Well, in all honesty, I wouldnt miss it if they didnt put a single holiday item in the game.

Plenty of holiday cheer around that its not necessary in the Caribbean.

Again, I think attention elsewheres is more significantly important.

And not to mention, Disney has a reputation to uphold, knowing that not everyone celebrates Christmas during the holidays, I'm sure they wouldn't want to put a tree up to celebrate the holidays.

I like what they did in the taverns, was expecting some snow piles or snowflake, or even some twinkling lights, but I don't think pirates had those either.

I agree with you Zep. Atleast they fixed the F12 thing for screenshots though. I myself could really care less about these decorations since they are barely noticable.

Sarah I think I know who. It was most likely Ben. After all those daggers and grenades from Amelio (Amelia), Andres (Andrea), MS.CAPS LOCK (Li), and Norriea (Norries)......hes lucky it was just a foot! and yes they made nicknames for each other ;) lol

That one sock belongs to the pirate they call Peg-Leg....

I admit, I had to log on and just check one thing.

I was having a bad delusion I think from to much rum.

I did get to my War Frigate, and checked the bow, there was no mickey mouse dressed up like Santa there. And wreaths were not stuck in my cannons.

OK that was two things, but when holding up two fingers at this point it looks like 4. So curse it anyways,, err wait no I did not say that, no curse, nothing about curse forget you saw anything here.

OK I am going to go work on some notoriety, wait, can't do that either, umm where is the rum?

And where do we hang these stockings now, oh wait my inventory is full, I don't have room for a stocking. Just leave the rum not to close to the fire arrrrrrrrr.

Ribbons are still up in Beckett's Quarry, by that "Silent" boss.

I just noticed one over the fireplace in Doc Grog's is still up too.

Looks like most of the buildings are following that classic holiday tradition of leaving their decorations up atleast a month after the holidays end. :laughks2:
