A Riddle for the Guild Foodies
Last night, while playing late as usual, I went to the kitchen to grab a snack.
Choices, choices.... which would I choose... and WHY? a) Beef, chicken and vegetables in gravy b) Meatballs and pasta in beef tomato sauce c) Turkey , with bacon and vegetables in gravy d) Peanut butter and jelly sandwich All of these food options were in my kitchen. All were quick to fix.. the first three prepacked. I chose the PB + J ...why? Hmmm..Food for thought. So my foodie guildmates, post your wild guesses, or ask me ingame. Lol.. Arian knows why .. so shush girl. For those random pirates who want the answer, PM me. |
You're a vegetarian/vegan
|
Lol nope.. just had some absolutely delicious steak and crab legs yesterday.
|
Because you were hoping to spill some on your arm ( like me) so your elbow pit would smell like PB&J???
|
EASY ONE!!!
The first 3 options require a plate, someplace to put it, and a fork to eat with. You have to lean in to prevent sloppage, and you have to look at the plate to ensure you are getting food on the fork. All of these take your attention off of the game, and distract you from talking, chatting and playing pirates. The PB&J sandiwich only takes one hand, doesn't require much motion, you dont have to look at it to eat it, and it provides minimum distractions. Besides, eating food with a fork would get slop on your mic! (If you think you are the only OCD eating while playing person in the guild, you are dead wrong!) |
On top of what Basil said, you could actually prepare the PB&J at your desk, no need to leave the game more than once to gather your snack. Apart from a few crumbs, it's an easy peasy way to eat and play. ;)
Are we getting warmer? |
ROFL oh I soooo want to tell you all...... :laughks2: :112:
|
Well... I agree with Basil, and Sarah...
But hey... those first 3 would'nt be very good if your microwave wasnt working. |
because u like p&j better than the other lol
|
Oh, OK, it's because Arian was eating vegimite and you wanted the closest thing you had....ROFL ;)
|
Lol.. all guesses wrong... so far
Crimson .. nice thinking ... I hadn't even thought of that. Tandy.. Rofl... I forgot about your PB fetish Basil... omg.. even more OCD than me...but you got a laugh out of the real answer didn't ya (IM'd me for it) Sarah...economy of energy.. I like that. Lol.. nice regional diversity thought.. Vegimite. (ick.. been described to me..will let Arian have it). Glad you enjoyed the real answer!!! Zep... lol...not even gonna give my thoughts on the microwave.. guess I'll have to PM ya for you to understand Davy... mmm..I do really like PB + J.. but that ain't the answer SHUSH ARIAN...KEEP YOUR GIGGLES TO YOURSELF!! and roflmbo.. you too Basil and Sarah.....sshhh... want to see what other ideas our creative pirates come up with. |

Here's my idea....... Seeing as how I enjoy all of the above, there are times when food in a can just won't do..... AND ...... I like to eat lite when playing late......
|
The first three were cat/dog food?
|
:firewrks3:
Give the award to Ange!!!!! yep... lol The first three were descriptions of Kibbles and Bits canned dog food. Which brings me again to why Zeppers idea regarding the microwave....:sign0137: So.. it's mmm PB+J.. here's to licking it off my elbow pit! |
ROFL! I was sure that had to be wrong because of the "Spaghetti and Meatballs" one XD

These are not food options for you!! Your question suggests these are thing you would eat!!! As I see it now ;) You considered eating dog food, now that suggestion even without a microwave deserves an EwwwwW! funny though. |
Hey Zep,
Have you ever seen some of those premium dog foods when they come out of the package? Look's a lot more appitizing than Dinty Moore stew! (Or, Forgive me for saying it, SPAM!) Besides, is there a dog owner in the world who hasn't tasted Milk Bones? Actually not that bad! :P |
LMBO, BasiL!!!!!! That is way too funny!!!
|
lol Basil, you know I'm somewhat ashamed to say that I have not yet taken the plunge that is partaking of Milk Bones. I've given them to my dog for the 10 years we've had her though, so maybe I'll cave in and try one soon.
|
Get the flavored ones, but pass on the green, I think they are liver flavored!
YUK!!!! |
aye there not bad ....
|
ROFL!! LMBO!!
No-I do not have/own or have ever owned a dog... No-I have NEVER tried "Milk Bones" -BUT- I do have a brother-in-law that once tried to convince me (many, many, many naive years ago) that eating canned cat food was pretty acceptable... No-I never tried it. -BUT- YES, I've eaten SPAM!!! ;) Mostly grew up on it... My sister considers it a "staple" food for Hawaii :piratetongueor4: |
When I was little I ate dog kibble. I'm just a very curious person. To be honest, I eat some of the fruit snacks and etc. I give my bunnies (the yogurt chips are kind of bland). Yesterday I ate some of the dried herring that I give to the kitties. I always want to try that dog jerky... I forget who makes it, but it's hickory smoked!
I eat pet food all the time! Who's surprised? |
Hahahaha! I am soooo not surprised! As long as you don't test our the paper lining in your bunny's, it is all good.
|
ROFL.... oh jeez.. the responses were all too funny..
As far as eating dog food... my brother used to munch on milk bones.. I never did. And dry kitty food must be good cause when my youngest daughter used to get in trouble, I'd send her to time out at the landing on the stairs (which also happened to be where the cat's food bowl was). One day she got real quiet .. so I peeked around the corner... only to find a 2 yr old totgirl with a mouth stuffed full of Meow Mix. Picture pouched out cheeks with little pieces of cat food sticking out of little lips. Lol. And Zep... haven't you heard those stories of destitute people eating pet food? A 12 can case of that ...eh hem.. delicious sounding dog food cost $7. At 2 servings a can it's ... lol can't say it with a straight face.. economical. Hope you all had fun with this... I did. |
