Darts in POTCO UK

Sooner or later would have Pirates as Ninjas. (we got the sword, we got the dagger, now we need the darts :) ....I hope so. What about an Archer?

Not adding darts as an attack weapon, adding darts as a game in the taverns!

The UK POTCO isn't currently up and running.
Darts may be added but they aren't in either of the game(s) yet.
Game(s) meaning POTCO US and POTCO UK.

I am sorry, I should have mentioned that the UK version has yet to be released.

I was just snooping on the features page from that website, and darts caught my attention!

Either way it sounds pretty cool. Can't wait til they put it in the game.

Looking at the POTCO UK webpage, there look to be either some improvements to both the US and UK version, or some additions to the UK only game.

So the first item is ship customization. If they mean more than just a custom name, could this include sail colors, hull colors or perhaps even gun placement and power?

The second bullet mentions secret maps to locate treasure. If this is just more than the Boss Battle map, then perhaps there will be a treasure hunt feature to be added to the game? Also in the second point, it mentions traps, ambushes, and double crossing pirates. I do not think we have this sort of action in the current POTCO release, but interpretations could vary widely.

The third point mentions using voodoo to cheat in games. I wonder if this will allow us to cheat the card deck more than just swapping cards? It also mentions unique curses. I wonder if we will be able to create custom hexes with varying power, range or duration, or if they are just referring to the variation in power and duration from skill point assignment?

The fourth point mentions a darts mini-game! Fantastic!

The last point could refer to wealth trading, or it could just be the trading of the knowledge of wealth. I hope for the former.

Some things are the same some aren't. Like ship customization, darts and trading.

I saw the trailer,and it seems the crabs,if you look carefully,are bright red,insread of our greenish-brownish crabs,and also near the end of the trailor,when it was zooming out of a battle(a lot of skeletons and ships),there was a ship with red and yellow sails and a yellowish hull,could this be the Spanish?Also it says

These are just things to catch people's eyes so they play the game.
All of these things are things that would be a great addition to the game and probably will be added into the game.
Now lets all sit back, watch, and wait...

I would be - but that list is probably why it isn't out yet LOL :D If they don't have them in ours - they can't put them in theirs ;)

that is great the way they advertise for things.

One interesting tidbit: opening the Flash file itself in Firefox and then using "Page Info" shows a Modified date of May 17, 2007. Not sure how accurate that is, but if it's right it doesn't sound very "new"...

Noone said anything about the concept of POTCO UK being new.

Its been on the drawing boards since I joined in February that I know of at least.

And just a little info on "Flash" Flash can be written as an interface. The shell that pulls data and displays it could be years old, and be fed and display information that is seconds old.

I saw what looked like a Spainish ship in the UK trailer. They probubly use Spainish instead of English as enimies, because killing British soldiers in Britain isn't exactly ethical.

I just looked at the setup for the upcoming UK POTCO.
I noticed the phrase for treasure maps for looking for treasure. I suggested this quite a while back through the Disney suggestions. Never really heard back from anyone at Big D on it. It would be a nice touch for the US POTCO game as an addition to the Black Pearl Boss Battle. AND as a way for early members to build up gold for getting the better War ships.

Hope that bothe the UK and Us versions get some of the same features, I.E. darts, treasure hunts, ect..
