I need help swaying a lass in game...

I am at my wits end with Elizabeth. What else can I do to gain her favor?

Hehehe, LOL, ummm, perhaps a large diamond ring? Diamonds are a girl's best friend!

Gettin a little too involved with Elizabeth there huh will ;) LOL

if you must have my opinion then I would say try to re-decorate her place there :) its a mess

Bartholomew Foulsteel 11-04-2008 04:08 PM

Hey mate--stop trying to tell her you need to marry her to make HER happy. That never works.

Try courtship first. See how things work out. And if things don't work out, there's plenty of other fish in the sea!

Fillyteen 11-04-2008 04:31 PM

I thought she was already taken by Will Turner

Arr, he must be jealous over that cutlass you were given...

Well, I have plans to woo Scarlet, and they include naming a ship after her. The Scarlet Hunter mayhaps?

anndreeuhh 11-04-2008 07:45 PM

Aye theres an idea for you, I think you can name a ship (something) Swan. For Elizabeth. Try that and see how it works out. ;)

League 11-04-2008 07:46 PM

Hmm, nice, ain't think of that. (*Runs to check the ship thread*)

Chris 11-04-2008 07:48 PM

Hehe try scarlet she might be more forgiving!

League 11-04-2008 07:50 PM

Nope, Scarlet works better, as there can be: The Scarlet Crest (though me wonders if Scarlet'd be in it only for the ship...), The Scarlet Hunter, etc. It's much harder for a Swan: the Fortune Swan, the Victory Swan--they be the only wooing names.

Are ye sayin' my lass be easy?

anndreeuhh 11-04-2008 07:54 PM

Then again why try to win over a fair lady with a ship? I'm sure Elizabeth and Scarlet might be more accepting to something from the jeweler.

Jade McKidd 11-05-2008 12:05 AM

Aye, like I said a nice diamond ring just might entice her to look your way and pay attention to the ladd that stands before her with a lovely sparkling gift! Take it from a female, we love our diamonds...and yes high maintanence means extravagant gifts...Diamonds are a Girls best friend, Mate!

Deadpool 11-05-2008 12:11 AM

Hmm... have you thought about Scary Mary? Oh and about Scarlett I tried a few weeks ago...

Couldnt be Davy Jones, because he was in love with the goddess Calypso who gave him the task of taking care of those that died at sea so he could live forever, wanting to live forever, and love Calypso forever Davy Jones gave his heart to sail the seas as the keeper of its dead only being able to return to land once every 10 years. Upon his return 10 years later, Calypso his love, the reason for doing this, was not there to greet him, and he grew bitter, and stopped pursuing the tasks set forth for him. Because he failed to do these duties, he was cursed with the monstrous look we all know him by. Davy, now bitter, and confused became angry with Calypso and helped the pirate court to entrap her in her human form, Tia Dalma, taking the goddess Calypso from the sea.. and taking away her influence upon it.

Davy's story has some similarities, but the facts just dont match. :)

mlratto 11-07-2008 12:04 AM

marrying? settling down?

me thinks not! we be pirates and are married to the sea!

League 11-07-2008 03:53 AM

Nay mate, ships are freedom. We have an easy relationship with the sea, like two immatuture youngin's.

Granted, this article be about swayin'. If swayin' means anything more than givin' a name (which really ain't but givin' anything at all), then I stands to reasons that ye be the one gettin pirated. What more stands to me as buying, and thus being bought.
