Harkaway ship
 

I was hoping someone could help me with a question. I and several guildmates have been told by GMs to keep an eye out for the Harkaway ship and the Treasure Fleet. Of course they were very vague and wouldn't give any details. I was hoping maybe this is something someone on the test server might know a little about. Or if someone has chatted with a more forthcoming GM, and could shed a little light on this.

Supposedly they were spotted sailing one night but there is no confirmation. This was on Open servers.

Thats just stuff that Gms are supposed to tell you. You would know if That Harkaway ship or the Treasure fleet was there, it would be obvious

Haven't seen anything on test to do with this.
Only thing I have seen about this is the post on the blog.

Perhaps it has something to do with the prizes that people are suppose to receive through out this month, who knows.

Sounds like it might just be the GMs playing around with us. I was hoping for more. I really am looking forward to new ships to battle and hopefully a chance to take down a Kaken. Thanks for the responses though.

I guess I was just fantasizing about having my guildmates and I on several ships, hunting down a fleet of high level ships loaded with Royal Chests!!!!! Too much to hope for????

The only stuff I've heard was that supposedly ship customization was to be coming out soon. Nothing about a Harkaway ship. But then again who knows.

It seems to me there has to be something to this for the GMs (two at least) to have mentioned it by name.

Well then it seems that disney is trying to get us to sail more. Lol

Well you could always play chicken. Lol. I do it every now and then when I get bored. Just board a ship, (make sure you have a few peeps with you) then see who can last the longest without fighting. That'll give ya a new expeirience.

Worth a try, anything to keep some excitement going. Seems like more and more my guildmates and I just usually log in and stand around chatting, we really enjoy each others company but need to find more activities in the game.

Well theres nothing like chatting and trying to keep yourself alive. I believe theres a post around here for Tormenta Tag. That ones worth a try too and will definately keep you on your toes and your finger on the T button.

Ship chicken? lol you mean against NPC ships? that sound so much fun! I met a host GM recently in Andaba i think just before one of the full moons, but he mentioned nothing other than beware of the curse (but i arrived late). As for the Harkaway ship thing that's completely new to me. I read about the mysterious new GM arriving at Port Royal docks but didn't see him myself nor know anyone who did. It would be interesting to have an event where we have to fight off a fleet of enemy ships and have a boss ship like the Goliath leading the fleet :)

Lol yeah ship chicken is fun. If you have a higher lvl character get a few other high lvl buddies and board a colossus. It'll be fun til you see theyre all lvl 39 officers on board. And like you Nattie I haven't heard about the new ship/fleet only about customization to your ships. Guess we all have to wait it out and see whats up Disney's sleeve.

Ship chicken: should I ever get a crew, high-leveled and huge, I'll play that. As for the ship, haven't heard much about it.

Zep, some of his guildmates, a lot of other pirates, and myself were at the PR docks when the GM was there........unfortunately Zep and I arrived a little to late.

I saw GM Sir Victor on the dock at Port Royal before the Halloween weekend. He spoke not only of the curse, but also the Harkaway ship ("huge, massive treasure ship headed for Port Royal"), something about a "moonstone", the possibilities of: the 40 cap being raised, gold cap raised, more weapons, ship personalization.
Might have been able to get more out of him if not for all the brainiacs endlessly asking "what's a GM?", "why can't I crew you"?, "where do I find raiders?" blah blah blah..

Finally more info on this. Thanks for posting this!! :) I got the tail end of that conversation and only heard about the ship customization. I hope they come out with this soon
