the game allows anybody to be jedi, sith, bounty hunter, etc. and each will have their own storyline. :starwars030:
the game is going to be called The Old Republic and it is set 300 years before KOTOR:starwars025:
and you will be allow to have npc crews that can aid and interact with players:starwars016:

Whoa whoa, beter than POTCO? I have both and compared to this, no challenge at all.Hands down PotCO dominates in all catagoreies. I may be a Lucasarts fan( Mostly Star Wars) but game quality and such PotCO beats it all except two things,lag, and graphics. KOTOR doesn't have real ppl playing it, only AI.
EDIT: Its just a rumor and with the failure of Star Wars Galaxies i doubt it will go upward, yet with the release of The Clone Wars it might get attention.

POTCO hands down.

There is its Star Wars Galaxies and even though i LOVE POTC and the game i have to admit SWG looks 10x better than POTCO then again it is 5 years old... but still.

and I really want Lucasarts to focus on the new Indiana Jones game instead...

its not "galaxies" it is a new game that hasn't been released yet. it was announced by lucas arts. brand new! its not KOTOR i just read about it at ign.

Pfft no way im a hardcore STAR WARS fan but im sticking with POTCO and if you think you know more about STAR WARS than me..lets just say im hardcore enough to get the 1978 Christmas special on video ;)

The Star Wars MMO thats out right now (Galaxies) is pretty awesome. Theres SO much more to do than on POTCO. And not to mention its more exciting.
If only the big D wasn't so slow with coming up with new updates on the game, then POTCO might be able to stick around for longer.

Despite how much I love POTCO, I would make the switch for a Star Wars game, or even a Indiana Jones game.

Don't get me wrong.. I absolutely love POTCO. All I'm saying is that theres better games out there that could give POTCO a run for its money. Like Galaxies.

yes, they need to put the next chapter and raise the 40/25 levels, fix what needs fixing. or they can see some desertions.

Theres no arguement that POTCO probably came out too soon... but since its here I'll be there all the way to the end :D

Now I'm a big Star Wars fan, and theres a guy I work with - well - lets just say I'm sure he'd sell his own kids to get the three missing books in the 143 collection of Star Wars that he has :D (no he REALLY wouldn't - they are in their late 20's LOL)

But, this is the game I've come to grow and love playing, so its where I'll be staying for some time to come...

that is my same dilemma... i really like this game, even to the point of neglecting the console games.
but... i love star wars.... so... i will be playing both.

The lag on this game will be its ultimate undoing.

If the lag problems get any worse, I will put my level 4o pirates back into the free-account boxes they came in, and push off for better adventures elsewhere.

i just hope POTCO improves.
