How far can I get on Basic Access?
 

I'm guessing up to level 15 or 16...
I am also a basic member Level 14 which is pretty far, but I've seen level 15 and 16s so far.

Notoriety wise around 13 - 15
All Skills wise only to 7 no further
Can only unlock Cutlass Pistol and Doll
After you finish the carver quest on basic you cant go further.

Well now they can do the clothing quest so thats a little more rep maybe 17 but ive seen a lv 19 basic and they were still leveling up so... yea oh and the privateer quest too

Most of those players are one who a) levelled during fee weekends or b) had accounts and cancelled them...

Most players never make it past 14 - all weapons stop at level 7

yea i know but ive made my basic account to lv 12 and still have alot left to lv so who knows ill tell u when i find out how far i get ( i have never had unlimited on this account )

actually the max is lvl 10 - lvl 20. im serious i know my friend and he went up to lvl 17 without any unlimited. but suddenly he got unlimited for 2 weeks. also without doing the clothing quest

well we will see what the max is when im done hehe actually u can get lv 40 with basic i found a quest that basic can do over and over and it gives 100 rep each time so if u rly rly rly wanted it u cud so ha!

I am going to be looking at this a lot closer soon. Too many accounts to just get stuff degraded. What I am wondering is with point changing now, how many low level skills can be loaded up with 5 points.

Have to see what all that does in a transfer. Probably, locked out in that area to a point as well. Need to go back to some limited accounts and check stuff out.

What other effects occur, weapon upgrades, going to limited back to unlimited effects etc.

My account ran out a few days ago, and I wasnt able to use my dagger anymore. Can't tell you anymore than that as I renewed straight away.

If you keep playing that quest in which you win $150 at poker and earn a 100 points, but after you finish it, delete the kill a undead then log out and then do it again, if you keep doing this there will be no stopping you LOL....

yea thats the quest i found that gives 100 rep each time and you can do it over and over but who would do that that many times??? you would have to do it atleast a million times hehe i dont think he wants lv 40 that much...

Ok, everyone... heres what I understand to be the limitations level wise for basic accounts:

Notoriety level 12. The basic pirate stops accumulating "notoriety points" for normal questing/defeating of enemies via standard rep reward system.

Weapons level 7. The basic pirate stops accumulating "weapons points" for defeating of enemies via standard rep reward system. At this stage they also stop receiving notoriety points no the same weapon.

There are ways to exceed the notoriety level 12. Play as unlimited, and revert to basic, or continue to defeat enemies recieving th various treasures/rewards that a pirate picks up from them which continue to reward notoriety.

Zep on my basic account i still get rep and it's lv 12 and still leveling up so... it is possible to get lv 40 on limited without being unlimited ever you just have to do lots and lots of quest

I may not be accurate, but I do not think you are either in this case.

If so, its a bug.

Well it's still letting me keep going so yea who knows but im not about to do that much to prove my point

and D has started letting limited to get alot farther so it could of changed from what the limits for limited access were when you were limited, but the weapon lv limit is still only 7
