Since Disney isn't allowing you to leak info, his character and personal info has been blurred from the images. This is why some things are fuzzy and wonky.

I am very impressed with the graphics of the game. I just hope Beta doesn't take long.. *Taps Fingers*

The character looks odd, but I hope the game is fun :)

As am I. This will be a very nice contrast from VMK. I didn't think it would look that nice this early in beta.

off topic, do we all get free signatures unlike vmkforums?

I assume the first few members will get free signatures and then it will switch to "pay for signatures". That's how both TTC and VMK worked.

Bo.Shawh, when a site opens, signatures are given out for free for a couple of weeks, maybe months.

But anyways, I think so people are able to play. The people who signed up for BETA. But, what do I know?

For any beta testers: Someone post some voodoo screenshots soon! :D If you look at the second picture, you see a voodoo stats bar. Purple.

I'm also wondering if everyone has their own name. Unlike Toontown, where everyone can have the same name if they want.

I am pretty sure POTC Online will have the same name process as ToonTown: Names can be the same. I honestly hope not. :o

I think it would be best to have the same name system as VMK. Just because it would make our pirates unique. Personal opinion.

The graphics are quite impressive this early in the game. It looks like it will have better viewing angles. Much like the difference between the Sims and Sims 2.

I hope they have the name system of VMK, don't want someone to be the same name as me.

Yes, the graphics are awesome! I'm just hoping that there aren't any limits in the game. Like certain places where you can't go. Kind of like video games, you won't be able to go any further in an area. I hope it's as huge as it sounds.

Ahh, at least now I know the graphics are better than the PS2 game.

Well, they need proof it was his account. They can't sue him because if the picture is already in the open, it's public-owned.
But, if they seem to discover that he took the pictures in-game, I don't know...

OK so it doesn't have the graphics of Vanguard:SOH, Lord of the Rings Online, Everquest 2 and some other MMOs, but it looks quite decent for a semi-free MMO. I think the cartoony look is pretty cool!

I really like those graphics. Only problem is I most likely won't be playing during beta and will have to wait for the actual release. :(

Do you encounter Jolly Roger early in the game?

lol the graphics are insane! It requires a 128 MB 3D graphics card with Pixel Shader 2 and a gig of ram at minumum. Why dont we all go out and by new vista computers while were at it. Luckey for me though I am getting a new Vista computer with 3 GHZ Intell Core 2 Duo Extreme and a 756 MB Graphic card and 2 GB of ram so the game should be more than fine for me

No, It's free. You can pay for extras (it is not know what you'll have to pay for but we know it's free)

LOL, you oviously haven't played many new gen mmos! POTC Online's graphics are pretty darn average lol, it's recommended specs are MORE than enough.

The actual public release date has never been released. Only information we have so far is that it is coming out this spring.

Yes but all the sites talking about it say it will COINCIDE with the Pirates 3 release. In case you may not know what COINCIDE means, it means at the same time, along with, etc.

Yeah, but I'm really annoyed at your posts lately. You try to sound very smart and savvy about POTCO and POTC3, and take down anyone who disagrees with you. But all you're really posting are rumors.
So please, only state facts. And if you post a rumor, don't try to make it real.

It is free as of now. The credit card is to make sure you have paretal permission.
