We play Pirates Online, and like you, from time to time we see things that need improvement. For instance, take our recent Privateering feature that was added to the game a month or so back.

PvP ship battles are exciting, however, we've seen some Pirates doing things in Privateering that makes it not as fun as it should be - like repairing ships while in battle. (In Privateering, ship repairs can only be done at port or while the captain is away from the helm. The players that are repairing while still sailing are taking advantage of a bug in the game.) We do our best to make sure bugs are squashed before new features are introduced into the game, but when they do sneak in, we work even harder to fix them. That said, you'll see fixes for this and many other bugs you've told us about in our next release - we just want to let you know we hear you and are working on them.

Your feedback is important and can help make Pirates Online better for everyone, if you've seen a bug, report it!

Even though Talk Like A Pirate Day has passed, it's not too late to talk like a pirate by entering our Talk Like A Pirate Contest. To enter, think of an original and creative Pirate phrase and send it to us. We'll pick the best five phrases and add them to the game as SpeedChat! The winners will also get an official Pirates of the Caribbean T-Shirt with their winning phrase printed on it! This is your chance to leave a mark in the Caribbean - forever! Im personally excited to hear this that they are working on the annoying bugs :) so use them now because they are working on fixing them!

I hope they get those glitches fixed soon. I hate privateering when there are ships glitching so you can't sink them.:)

Heh heh, it's an awesome feeling knowing that they are actually reading our posts and listening! Now we just send in bug reports and wait around and watch in amusement as those good for nothing cheating bilge rats cry it out when their precious glitches are finally fixed! *evil laugh* Way to go Disney!

Lol i cant wait for the day we find out those bugs are fixed and we all go out on the sea and all the people are yelling "WHY ISNT THE GLITCH WORKING!!!" and "HEY YOU ATTACKED ME THATS NOT FAIR IM REPORTING YOU!!!!" i will be literally rolling on my floor laughing my but off so hard!

absolutely AWESOME!!! i have, for the most part, abandoned SvS which is a shame since it's Sven's favorite thing to do since he turned 40.

I was so mad I took a break from it and went to tormenta to blow off some steam. I think I made the Seabeards scared!!!

I cant wait until those Privateering bugs get fixed

the most infamous glitch of SvS is the assasin glitch which is when u glitch off your ship and go and kill the captin of another ship. this glitch is coverd in another thread in glitches section.

I wonder if the PvP Undead Crashing will get attention too?

At least they know there are bugs that help you cheat now.
I just wish anyone who won the contest wouldn't get the prize because I know there were probably a few cheaters out there who won.:angry:

Hate to add the voice of a newb here, but is there a list of glitches, bugs, and other things of annoyance? Because I've got this annoying one where I'm technically in the game world, but the loading screen is stuck on there. I can run around, draw my sword, but I might as well be doing it blind folded. Anyone had this happen? Again I apologize if this comes of as a newbie question.

it was too late though, some of the privateer contest winners used such glitch to win...

I dont think its really 'fair' to say that.

One can perhaps assume since we had seen so much of it going on that many were using such glitchs in thier ventures during the contest period. Certainly it effected the outcome. Some may have scored better if thier opponents were not cheating. However without knowing who, and to what measures (if any) Disney took in reviewing game logs to verify scores, etc. Its hard to make such a statement fairly.

Some of our own POF members here scored very well, and I take thier word on it they did not use glitchs, they certainly seem headstrong against them in discussion. :)

Yeah, I'm really excited about these new updates! There's some glitches I don't care for.

That is true Mr. Zeppers. To me everyone meant those i was fortunate enough to play with and against. I have no problem with those using glitches. In fact I learned a few tricks myself. In fact I don't complain about it. Obviously some did otherwise such glitch might have stayed around a little more.
