Scrolling User title
 

How do you get 1 of these.

For the Green Scrolly name you must be in the Top10 in Pirate Trivia.

For the Purple Scrolly name you must be in top 3 in the arcade champs.

You get these when they reset the scores which is every 3 to 6 months.

I know that but what about User titles.

Chris why is your title green?
If you are trivia and it won't scroll..

My username is green because im a clan leader.

Oh sorry Swash i miss read usertitle. Currently Members cant only some staff have scrolling and colored Usertitles and as far as we know members wont be getting them any time soon.

I've seen a member who had a scrolling title.

Do you need to be a founding clan leader to have that name?

No just need to have your own guild and sub-forum for that guild here at POF.

Swash really who is that because as far as i know this question has been asked before (by me) and i was told no one could get it.

But many people don't have that green name! :o its not fair :P

If you check the main forum page at the bottom, where you see all the members logged in - you will notice that no one now has scrolling names Swash... just their colors to represent their functions / winnings :)

Oh, and the reson mine isnt green is because I'm a Mod, which overrides the green - but then my Clan Tag overrides the Pink and just turns my name back to normal LOL

No People not names User Titles.

You mean like Mac Ironhawk? he has a scroll name

Alot actually do its wheather or not they want to display it. It is their choice. If you go to Site Staff can scroll to where it says Clan Leaders the people under that Sub-heading all have the option for a green name.

As for the usertitle i only know of Tepcat EKB Batleth and maybe 1 or 2 other mods who have it.

A USERNAME is the name of a member on the forums for example mine is Chris

A USERTITLE is the thing below you username for example mine is Bad to the Bonez Officer

What swash is asking is how do you get a scroll/color USERTITLE Batleth has one his says Kilingon Administratior, EKB has one too his is Hineous Hare

Oh you mean "The Last Squadron GM" Title... I believe this also has been disabled (well maybe Bat, LadyF and EKB have it) :)

I know mELODY has a scrolling user title not a mod it says Thinking of ways to bug LadyF.

mELODY is a mod, in other sites that Nick created.

Yea thats why if you look at nicks other sites Melody is a mod on there.

True.. they should make it for everybody it would look kinda cool.

Probably she is a mod here. (a very inactive mod)

But she doesnt have the mod title so shes not a mod... give me a minute i'll check.

Well, she is a mod in other sites. AND assistant here in POF.

Though Mel is currently not a Mod for POF - she is a Mod and has access to the Mod Tools which is probably where it was added Swash (the same as us only being members of ToonTown for example...) :)

And be careful... this isn't the Ban Game - saying not so nice things about Mods (or any other user) will only get you in trouble here...

Is this really that serious of an issue? If there was a way to get one trust me id have it by now hehe but there isnt.

What you are referring to is considered a priveledge.

Its not available to everyone, it will not ever be, if it was, then it would no longer be a priveledge to have it. Since it is a priveledge admins can bestow, it is safe to say that meLODY has been granted this priveledge by one of the admins. The reasons are not important as there is no set "requirements" one can achieve to be granted such priveledge. Such a priveledge is occasionally offered as a reward for various contests/events on POF giving regular members the opportunity to win the priveledges. Keep your eyes open for these opportunities.
