Expanded Friends Lists
 

I don't know about everyone else here but I would sure love to see the friends lists being expanded to fit more people. I can name 10 people right now both on POF and in game that I would add but I know I can't because, guess what? I don't have anyone to delete.
I have counted my friends before and last time I checked, I had 75 friends or so, while my friends list is full. So I'm guessing that's the cap.
I bet some of you are thinking "75? That's not too bad for a cap." Well think again. The more you play the game, the more friends you meet, obviously, until you're stuck trying to add someone but your list is full; you're now stuck between choosing the new friend and deleting the old one, or forget about adding the new and leaving everything the same.
I'm predicting that some of you may suggest using DxD, but not everyone uses DxD and I don't see why we should go to the trouble of logging into DxD everytime we want to add someone.
I think Disney should just expand the friends list to an unlimited capacity so we wouldn't have to worry about it.

This was more of a suggestion than a rant by the way. ;)

In real we can have unlimited friends!
or at least higher it to 200-300 :o

In Toontown the cap was only 50. I think that if the person is in your guild then that is enough. He/She doesn't have to be on your friends list if he is on your guild list. But if you have 75 other active friends then wow... I have only about 2 or 3 active friends... seriously.

I only have about 6 or 7 friends who are in PIC. Others are either from partner guilds, or just friends. :)

I think its 50 for both. 50 for In-Game friends, and 50 for DXD, I have 37 DXD friends ( I get on there waaay too much)

You can make friends on DXD? Never noticed that. I forgot about partner guilds that probably makes up majority of the friend list.

Personally, I've never even come close to filling my list.. I clean my list out probably once a month, I don't see the point in having a huge list of people I play with once but only that time. I don't know, I can't relate.. I guess I don't have many friends.. What is the max now anyway?
Wow, this is a hot topic, some much has been said while I was typing my message. I don't see the point in using the dxd for the true friends code, because you are still restricted with chat. Does anyone know the point of the true friends code? I have one with a friend and I don't see the difference or point..

Savvy says 75, and pirateguy_14 says 50 on POTCO and 50 on DxD so were not sure yet.

I'm not 100% sure but I'm guessing that the max is 70-75.

I told the gm's to expand the friends lists/guild lists and they said they were going to look into it.

In toontown you can only hold fifty friends.
If pirates has 75 then that's enough for me.

I'd like to see each friends list hold 100 friends.

last i checked the max was 50 not including DXD friends

and they should increase the amount of friends we can have.........save us the trouble of deleting people now and again

Ok then I don't know what happened to you Savvy. If you are a founder pirate maybe thats why you can have 75 friends. On Toontown the friends list was actually a problem though lol. Thanks Captain Seaford for asking. Hopefully we will get it soon so when I reach it I can get more spaces on my friends list!

maybe if more people ask we could make this work! I am sure one person is enough but the more the better as long as it doesn't get on their nerves.

I think it means if you have limited chat you if you enter the code you can talk to that person only whatever you want. I'm not sure about if you already have unlimited speedchat plus though.

He mentioned adding me there on DxD once, and im sorry to say I dont even know what he meant. :) Can the real Andrew/PirateGuy_14 please stand up and help educuate a few inquiring minds?

I've came to the point of deleting friends because they're in my guild but that disables you from boardidn their ships if not crewed. Only a slight inconvenience but an inconvenience none the less. I say we pay to play unlimited.. Why not unlimited friends?:skull:

i only keep true friends on my list. The people i play with the most. I think on all my pirates together, I don't have 50 friends on them. Guildmates have to land their ship eventually, then you can go to them and get crewed.

I guess I'm bad because if I friend someone and i don't play with or see them for a week, I usually take them off my friends list.

My friends list is reserved for friends I play with ONLY!!! Just my opinion!

Thing is, I have had 50 friends once and it would not let me add anyone...then i had maybe 48 and I still could not add anyone. Sometimes I cannot add someone but they can add me. Its a messed up thing. They need to have unlimited friends, if not...at least up to 200.

I know that we're all strangers in game to each other but I would stop and think about deleting a friend before I did it.
I got rid of thirty or so friends a few months ago from just random people coming up and wanting to be my friend. I have three to five people who I actually play with more than three minutes a day.
Yes I think it could be increased but not too high.

I think it's great having a long distinguished list of friends. The only issue I run into is trying to keep up with the conversations when there are several friends online. Responding in a timely fashion becomes challenging.... especially when you are engaged in a brawl in Tormenta.
