How can I get Unlimited Access?

Hi,

i found a thread with the same theme but it was locked.

I'm from Germany and I would like to play this game unlimited. My question is how does the payment go with a credit card and how can I get the access - via mail with a code or how?

Thanks for your help... :piratewheelgo2:

Dr. Zeppers 09-22-2008 03:55 PM

You can use credit card to pay monthly, for 6 months, or a year.

Monthly 4.95 first month, 9.95 thereafter
(charged automatically to your credit card each month)

6 Months pay via credit card for 6 months ahead (dont know price but its cheaper than month)

12 Months pay via credit card for 12 months ahead (dont know price but its cheaper than 6 months)

Pay via gamecard. Purchase gamecard from participating vendors (not likely any in Germany) Best Buy, and Target department stores, although Best Buy sells them online, that may work for you. Gamecards are $24.95 for 3 months.

SangrelX 09-22-2008 04:02 PM

1st month = 4.95 then 9.95 after first month
6 months = 49.95
12 months = 79.95

All options are renewed automatically - in other words if you order 6 Months - at the end of that 6 Months they will charge you again for 49.95 and you will have another 6 months

that keeps going until you go into your account and cacel it

and like Zepper said - if you can get GameCards from Target or Bestbuy you can use them too

We don't have the stores in Germany, can I buy a gamecard online at bestbuy or is it only for US?

SangrelX 09-22-2008 05:09 PM

I have no idea - I dont see why Best Buy online cant ship to Germany?

you would have to look that one up on their site

William 09-23-2008 11:42 PM

I'm from Argentina, and I wanted to pay for unlimited. So my father sent a mail to Disney asking if there was any way of getting unlimited access and they said that i have to wait until they expand their market, but I don't think this will happen in the near future, as they still have to reach the european market.

SangrelX 09-24-2008 12:13 AM

William -- as long as you can get a Game Card shipped to you some way or another
you can still play unlimted with them

I think what disney said sort of has 2 meanings
1. They dont currently Sell the cards in Argentina in any stores
2. They have no servers that are located close to Argentina so that means your ping would be fairly high

But i know people have service that are in countries and places that dont have a best buy or target

MELdeluxe 09-24-2008 04:45 AM

I can't buy the game cards online, ive received an email from them... :sad8:

The only thing I can do is find someone who will buy me a card an send it to me if Disney payment via credit card don't work too...

Davil 09-24-2008 04:55 AM

i don't now how then if they can't ship it to Germany, but its nice to now people from Germany play the game. it only shows how far the game has gone. Hope you find out how to get Unlimited though!
EDIT: Ebay might work as well as Amazon if u try there.

There is also the issue of banking in other countries. Accepting creditcards from banks in other countries could be problematic if they dont have the appropriate measures in place. They also would be concerned with providing you a certain level of service (ie the server issue Sangriex mentioned).

There definately are, some pay via creditcard probably from an American based bank, or obtain giftcards. I know that the visa gift cards I can get here in the US work great. Are those available outside of the US?

SangrelX 09-24-2008 05:56 AM

Zepper,

they would almost have to atleast be usable outside the usa
because im sure that people get em outside the usa as gifts and such?

Visa its everywhere you wanna be!

Amazon and Ebay don't have this game cards. :(

Unlikely you'd find them on Ebay or an auction site as they are an exclusive product, and anyone putting them on ebay would have to pay full price for them and turn and sell for more than that. Ebay sellers have this thing about turning a profit.. sheesh.

Bestbuy ships international, but only to Guam, AFP/FPO addresses and other US territories.
Target offers them in store, and not as an online product.

Might see about getting a Visa Gift card of sorts.
These can be purchased online at many places... easy to find with a quick search on visa gift cards

That does not mean they have to work. It doesn't even imply it. If Disney uses any IP mapping tool to restrict access by country, then it is restricted by country. If they relaxed the firewall for the UK, Germany might still be locked out.

If they can't ping 198.105.196.90 or ping 198.105.196.13 in the first place, then they probably shouldn't waste any time trying to buy an unusable game-card. Even if they can ping, it doesn't mean the game will work.

Rackat 09-24-2008 05:55 PM

I think MasterCard has gift cards as well, Zep.

Well its unlikely someone would be asking the question if they werent already playing the game on basic. People are already playing over seas, this point has already been made. The question is merely about payment, upgrading to unlimited.

Captain Seaford 09-24-2008 11:00 PM

Like I said, I don't read posts much lol, so, like zep said, target or best buy. If not I don't know

umm LOL -- my Post had nothing to do with the game or any possible ip blocking disney may have in place

Zepper asked if Visa Gift cards are available outside the usa

which is where my post says what it says about them having to be atleast usable outside the USA because people get them as gifts and such etc.

hrm let me re-word it for easier understanding!

People across sea's im sure receive Visa Gift cards all the time - therefore like the commercial says Visa - its everywhere you wanna be! - i am fairly sure they are usable outside the USA!

and if they are they theoretically could be used to pay online for unlimited account access

Now I do know however that Online Credit Card Processors check the IP addresses of the purchaser (and some Processors -- NOT the Company your buying from - will Block other countries via IP )

so even if disney allows the player on basic access who lives wherever - their credit card processor might not let them pay via ANY type of credit card due to their location

just another tid-bit of info there

What about PayPal? Can that be used?

SangrelX 09-25-2008 01:41 PM

Rackat - I dont think Disney accepts paypal - I dont remember if it was an option during check out or not

MELdeluxe 09-25-2008 03:13 PM

Disney accepts paypal - but only with credit card...

Good point, but since thats never been the issue before I dont think anyone needs to go there. Visa cards are useable globally for sure, I dont think this is going to be a problem. Also keep in mind we have other members here that have stated they pay via credit card (that live outside the US). The best part about this option "IF" your right? The visa card can still be used at stores more than likely, not like potco game card that suddenly became a souvenir.

it might have never been an issue yet with the processor disney uses - if so thats awesome - perhaps the visa gift cards will work then for those outta states (but some processors definetly block certain countries - I used to encrypt cards for our processor and they blocked places like Argentina, Brazil, etc.)

I strongly believe that Visa or even Mastercard Gift cards will work - See if you can order a Visa Giftcard or Mastercard Giftcard from the web and have it delievered to your country - I mean heck order a 9.95 card and see if it works - worse comes to worse your out only 9.95
