This was wierd a guild matey got kicked for typing /time and said he got a message so i tried it i typed /time and i got kicked and got this message.

It is weird! my guildies did it boom they got kicked

I bet on Abassa soon enough people will be telling people to type that in, people getting booted all over the place :p

OK, credit to Swashbuckler II (the first person I saw do this to a hostile n00b.) The sad thing really, is that this DOES work, most of the time.

ROFL Savvy!. Yea I fell for that one, i should have taken a screenshot, I think I may know what its for. It might be for those Host GMs, you know, when its time for them to switch server, they can just type /time, and it automatically switches servers.

Aye. That makes a lot of sense. But if that is the case, then the time emote will only exist for this weekend. :(

As is admin priveleges maybe it has something to do with a GM

It doesnt ban you from the game it just boots you. You can log right back in.

I know alt + f4 does, by boot by doing /time, do you mean kicking you off the game our out of the guild...

It kicks you out of the game. But you can relog the second you get booted.

well the special events are in game still like
Double XP, St. Patty, Fathers Day, Double Gold, etc..

they are just disabled -
perhaps when an Admin issues the correct command it enables that holiday then they specify how long it lasts by using /time

maybe its a branching command
Example: /event DoubleXP /time 03:00:00 (wich would be Double XP for 3 Hours)

bored and some level 2 basic walked up to me and said

I didnt listen to that guy though

/time and /date and stuff like that seem like rather reasonable commands, and useful at that. They should tell you what they say.

/date boots you too? I'm not trying it! LOL
what about /year? probablty not
