The Most Users Ever Online: Time to Break It
 

When you first log on to Pirates Online Fourms, if you scroll down a bit, you will see something that says te most users ever online was 425 on 02-20-2008, at 9:04 PM. Well, as you all know, Febuary was a long time ago, and i feel it is time that record was to be broken. This message is not only for members, but for guests as well. So, i would like to ask all of you, will you help me break the record? I just want to do this, because i feel it would be kind of nice, having a record that has been held for so long, be broken. I am not forcing you to help. If you would like to help, please post here and a time will be posted soon. Thank you :)

Why not just post a time to try to get people to come online then?

Before you say to break the record of people online here, I get that part, what I dont get is the necessity for anyone to post on this thread.

True.... i just wanna see what time people will be able to come online. But, i have decided that i would like everyone (members and guests) to try to come online to POF on Sunday 9/14 at 5:00 PM Eastern time. I hope you guys can make it and help us break the record :)

Yes posting seems like a waste.
But posting a time or making a date for when we should come on should work.
I never really thought about trying to break the record.
I was on when TTC broke its most users ever online was...
I guess the big bossbot HQ opening was important.

I can't remember what time it will be Pacific time if it's Eastern there.
It's three hours differnce if i'm right.(I doubt it)
So it will be at 8:00 at night or 2:00 in the afternoon.

If ya REALLY wanted to set a date - it should be October 31st.. the 1 year anniversary of POTCO's release :D

I think for the first year of pirates online being out it's pretty good.

You are right Maximvs. Not only is that a great idea, but it will give us time to get more people to join. So, in honor of POTCO, we shall aim to break the Most Users Ever Online record here on POF, on October 31st, 2008, the anniversary of POTCO, at 8:00PM eastern (7:00 PM Central, 6:00 PM Mountain, 5:00PM Pacific).
So be sure to log in to POF at that time (members, moderators, administrators, and yes, even guests) and help make it a rememberable Halloween! Lets do this!

P.S. If we break the record or not, i will still be holding a Halloween After Party at the Faithful Bride in Antik for anybody who wishes to gather up, and go pillaging and plundering! (lets hope we wil be able to get some screenies that night!)

I'm so sorry I wasn't able to support this event. I was in transit to another state and I don't feel comfortable leaving my 'puter connected while I'm away from home.

But I hope the site broke the old record, and I was here in spirit.
