3 cant be beat it has the best special effects since Independence day or war of the worlds.

I've only seen 3 and 2. soo umm i guess 3 =]

I say i like all the movies

1 had the strongest plot and the most twists, with a whole buncha suspense and cliff-hangers. Well, at least it seems that way. 3 was kinda lousy (I'm not saying it was bad though: contrariwise, it was still good), though 2 was fantastic: if it was an idependent movie, and didn't make you have to watch another movie, it'd probably be my vote.

However, some of the stuff like the dog reappearing movie 3 (2 as well!), some inside jokes, some plotted-jokes, and some things that you could foresee made the movies very fun.

All three movies were good, but i voted for #1

Usually the first movie is the best of all of them no matter which movie it is. (Spiderman, Batman, Pirates) I have to say they done a really good job in all three of these movies. Special effects were awesome. Loved the ship fight in the last movie in the funnel. Loved the slowmotion scene when the Black Pearl & Dutchman are firing on the EITC ship. Great scene!!!

I have to say World's End. It just had more action and humor than the other two in my opinion, and I just loved that maelstrom scene with the Pearl and Dutchman battling while avoiding certain death to a whirlpool...ahh, that's what we should have in POTCO...:)

The other two were also directed and acted out with sheer excellence but I've always favored #3.

I voted for 1 also, but really did like 2, and since not seeing 3 yet, I guess I can't say I liked all of them just yet, :grin:

They were all outstanding. Duh!

Hard to say really...each has their own special story going on within a continuing storyline of sorts...

#1 was good becuase it introduced us to the main characters...and the whole Cursed Undead Pirate crew was always omething of lore...

#2 continued the story...and the best part I think was the build up of seeing the might of the Kraken...

For #3...I loved how Jack and Barbossa interacted with one another...as much as they couldn't stand each other, they still seemed somewhat respectful, almost family like to each other...especially when they saw the great beastie on the beach...plus it was fun to see them going at it as to who the real captain of the BP was...and they say Depp and Rush had a grand time doing this movie...

All in all...each movie has something for everyone...and they're all memorable...

I enjoyed the 3rd. It was hilarious are brilliantly directed.

(is saying that all three were insanely amazing and that my obsession -- so big it'll eventually cause the universe to explode, beLIEVE me, it's why people online - well, not sure about here - call me Jack's Wife, the biggest obsessive pirates fan in the world -- goes so far as to tell me that if I pick one over the other, it'll reduce. BAM.)

I'm all about the music, cuz I'm a nerd like that. I have all three albums and the music in the third movie is wicked sweet.

Dude At WorldS End Was AWESOME!!!! You got all three of My Favorite Characters. Capt'n Jack Sparrow (of course) Barbossa and Davy Jones. Can it get better than that?? I Love all three movies but man If I'm feeling like a little Pirates I always through in My Favorite...Savvy??

Liked em all, but 3 the most

I think the first movie will go down as a classic. The second was tolerable at best. And the third was good, yet had it's ridiculously cliche moments. Honestly though the franchise has become so disneyfied it'll amaze me if they do a good job on the fourth movie.

I think each one had something special about it.......it's always a risk when rolling out sequels as other franchises were not so successful.

I like the first one the best! The Second and Third were amazing too, but you can never beat Curse of the Black Pearl. I really wish they would come out with a number 4 even though I don't think they will :(

The third movie was the best to me, basically because it was funny! But it was confusing at first, whith the 9 pirate lords, and the peices of 8. But I like this movie the best anyways!(too bad the jar o' dirt wasnt in this one)

In my opinion #1 was the best (It was my first live action movie in theatres as a kid!)
But gosh, when I saw Dead Man's Chest opening day... I was so excited me and my Mom waited in line for god knows how long. When the Kraken ate Jack and when Barbossa walked down those stairs at the end of #2 Disney already had my money for seeing #3 in theatres :D

I thought that there were some very funny parts in this movie

i love dead mans chest just potc trashed the ending by destroying jack character
