Have you sunk one of the 2 new ships to the open server:
Death Omen
EITC Behemoth

Several times, it was fun, although doing the Death Omen, cough, by myself was not very smart. lol

Sunk both. Enjoyed it. Did it again. Still fun. :)

I've sunk about 1000 ships in the last 48 hours looking, and getting by the clothing quests..

Have never found them, have searched far and wide where everyone has pointed.

I still question thier existence on open server. If they exist on open, then they appear to be random spawns.

I have found the Juggernaut however.


Anyone have any information that points to where they are?
None of the described locations i've seen have ever had one of the mentioned ships.

They are there Zep! I helped sink the Death Omen, but I have yet to see the Behemoth. Several of my guildmates said they have sunk it. The Death Omen seems to be seen more than the Behemoth.

So people say... but noone has pointed to an area, location, or sailing pattern that would give anyone actual proof beyond "heresay".

I dont doubt anyone, but just having sailed the oceans of multiple servers, covering lots of ground, gaining sailing levels 22, 23, 24, and half way to 25 in the last 48 hours, making about 30000 gold just from sailing in that time... sailing where everyone said to look for these things.. and still nothing..

Can you blame me for being skeptical?

Found the Juggernaut there though.

I have found the Death Omen first to the East of Kingshead, then Southwest of PDF, then NNW of Perdida, different servers, different days. Still haven't seen the Behemoth. The release notes said "around the outer edges of map" instead of saying "uncharted waters." I should hope those are still equivalent, but ya never know.

Each time a "special" boat appears, seems to be when I've chased some other meanie a little too far out. Suddenly no other ships can be seen, except for the new ship cruising in from nowhere. Be the perfect time for the music to change, or clouds to darken the sky.

Zep, I can't blame you for the skepticism, but all I can tell you is that I seen and sunk the Death Omen with a guildmate. Now as far as the Behemoth, I might have to agree with you on it because I have yet to see it and don't know but a few that has.

I've seen the Death Omen right of Isla de la Avaricia. never seen the Behemoth though.

The problem is, they don't spawn in the same place. We had to do the server switching thing too. grrr

I've sunk seveal Juggys behind Padres, three Death Omens behind Canjaros and two behind Padres... but that Bethmouth eludes me - I've only seen one at Outcast, and since then I've been there many times (like my location says LOL) and he's never returned... :D

The higher level ships (Juggernaut, Death Omen, and Behemoth) are believed by some to be as I like to call , "drifter ships" (for example, you know how the Corvette flagship doesn't sail in a circle, but goes from Cutthroat all the way to Outcast and just sits there? Thats what i mean by a "drifter ship"). This is not proven though, due to the fact they are seen sailing in circles. I believe that they are drifter ships, due to the fact whenever you go to a place where somebody told you they found it, even when they have proof such as a picture, its not there!
On another fact, i guess i will have to agree with the others that the most likely you are to find the ships are:
Death Omen: Northwest of Peridida, Southeast of Kingshead, very far soth of Outcast and Cuba, and RARELY off to the east of Isla De la Avaricia.
Behemoth: Northwest of Peridida, East of Cuba, far south of Cuba Isla Tormenta and Outcast.
Juggernaut: Northwest of Peridida, FAR east of Kingshead, southwest of Padres, far south of Tormenta Cuba and sometimes Outcast.

I've had the fun of sinking all 3...and there were a couple of instances when I had all 3 in the same location by Perdida...even more awesome was the fact that I've seen (only once tho) multiple Behemoth's in the same area...likewise for Death Omen ships...

You can find thes ships, altho the timing obviosuly varies between servers, mostly in outer lying areas...as many have mentioned including myself, Perdida seems to be a hot spot...but I have seen these ships off of Outcast, KH and PDF, even by Rumrunner and Driftwood to include behind Tortuga...

I guess it's just random...best of luck hunting for them because they're fun to fight...

I have never even seen the death omen before but I have killed the juggernaut and the behemoth many times. I've seen the behemoth around cuba. I have seen the juggernaut between padres and outcast. Once though I saw the jugernaut on the bottom left edge of the total map behind outcast.

I've only sunk the Death Omen once.

It didn't get to fight back because I was fighting a flag ship when it came.
So I had the invicibility ship bug.

Well no ship had damaged me until I finished the flag ship off.

I wish I could battle the Death Omen with it fighting back.

I've had good luck with sink-a-Death-Omen "tourist" cruises behind Tortuga, believe it or not. Just go behind the island on a quiet-ish server and head for the end of the world. It never seems to be too far out, either, but is never within direct sight of the standard inter-island sailing pattern.

sailed the entire ocean tonight on one server, skated the entire out skirts and back and forth in uncharted waters... got boring at times.. no ships at all. Sank dreadnoughts, sank harbingers, sank predators, ogres, corsairs... but no Death Omen to be found.. <sigh>

I'lll keep looking.

I posted some pictures of where i was on the map and the server when i came across all of those ships (finally!) in the thread about the new ships. I found the Behemoth on a quiet server right next to Kingshead yesterday! but i mostly find them on the busier servers, there just seem to be better ships around on the busy servers when i plunder for some reason. The Behemoth was the hardest one to find i'll admit, but i did find it eventually behind Padres, and then again on the same server around Cuba. Found the Death Omen about 5-6 times, sank it only twice (other times i was in my light sloop and didn't dare hehe) I find a lot of the new ships at the back of Cuba quite often too.

Here is my proof lol, open servers. ^.^ I missed the screeny of the Death Omen, but i did get a picture of it's fury stuck in the water as a glitch afterwards hehe. But i bet you'll all say it's just a phantom or rev ship right? :p I did look in the places people posted and told me where to look, but it's not always the same for everyone it may depend on the server. The same way when i'm looking for Corvette's or Marauder's for a quest on some servers there will be nothing at all and i have to change or sink others to make them spawn again.

Edit: Just found the Death Omen and remembered to take a screeny :) Last time i used this method to get to Kingshead fast without enemy ships firing (lol well except the french) it was a Behemoth i saw there, a quiet server beginning with 'C'. That location is going from Avaricia to Kingshead.

I've been off for a month (Holiday) and too be honest, I haven't had the inclination to get back on yet. I logged in last week to install the updates and chat to the guild, but that was it. I really hope Disney put some updates on soon to bring back the interest. A couple of new ships and more clothes, just don't perk me up enough. Maybe that is a lady thing.... but having more clothes doesn't wet my whistle. C'mon Disney or you may have even less people to bug report your next chapter update.

I found them both near Cangrejos and Ile D' Etable De Porc.

I finally sunk both of 'em, took me a while to find the Behemoth though

There is usually one lone ship way out from the rest of the pack, WSW of Outcast (very near the left edge of the map.) When I battle that dreadnaught, by circling around it, nose fashion, I invariably make sight of a single ship even farther out - either a juggy, moth or omen. If you aren't being sporting with that dread (and sinking it too fast, too strong) you may not see the scary ship off on the horizon. I really think they intended for the music to change when you see it. And thunderclouds roll in...

Well I finally came across these two today.

Set out from Port Royal, heading Kingshead, as I arrived at KH, I veered left and out into deepwaters.. found Death Omen (lvl 42) pretty quick... took her down fairly easily. Nice reward, 2 royals and 2 treasure chests.

Sailed behing KH heading towards Padres, staying left in the deep seas, and found the EITC Behemoth (lvl 43) sitting in the middle of a fleet of Phantoms. After luring this big ship out, we sent her to the bottom pretty quick, then we went in and wiped out his phantom protectors for fun. hehe

Killed 3 Omens and 1 Behemoth but whos counting.

Edgemenace is right...there are thunderclouds or a different kind of fog bank from the norm that is in the area once you're in the right spot...

Just in Fraggue server and i sunk all three of the new ships, and only those ships, until cargo was full. First sunk a double - Death Omen and Behemoth together, 2 royals from the DO, crates and treasue chests from the Moth. Carried on tha route down to Rumrunner's where i found another Death Omen, sunk it, 2 royals again. Carried on to Perdida, yet another Death Omen - once again two royals. Then i found the hidden Behemoth in the corner of Perdida map, sunk it, 1 royal, more crates. On route down to Cuba i pass a Behemoth and then to finish it off, the Juggernaut :D Which completes the cargo 16/16 with one last royal chest. I did mention before in other threads that these ships were easy to sink, after being hit by just one explosive and barely missing several others, the whole right side of my ship was damaged. I now eat my words lol. That Moth is tough if you get it's broadsides...(though gives bad cargo, 1 crate from one i sunk lastnight with a guildmate)

I never find em but i was with eh crew and got a few omens and 1 behemoth

I sunk both but at the wrong times. I was fighting for the Spanish and chased a guy then saw a behemoth. I was so excited that I forgot I was privateering and sunk it expecting a reward. It took me awhile to figure out why I didn't get anything lol

I have seen 1 behemoth, 3 juggernauts and 1 death omen all behind padres. I sank them all. lol. It was really fun and as someone said the omens are really easy to beat. I have beat 5 omens all very easy. Including a time in my light sloop all alone when i was a lower lv.

The one time I sank a Omen in my light sloop was when i was sailing from the spanish privateer island to cut travel time. Same as Edward Ironbones, i expected to get something. lol. And I have beat mant more juggernauts and behemoths then I said. You dont really search for them you just find them, and if you do search for them go far out and bring a sailing quest or two.(so you can track them easier)

Since i started this thread just after the new ships came out, I still haven't seen an abundance of these ships out on the water. I think when you are looking for them, you usually can't find them. If you are just sailing around sinking ships, all the sudden you see them. That is my theory from what i have experienced.

I have managed to find them in most of the locations that people say that they are at and I have found them in some oddball locations. Would like to see multiples at one time like some of the screenshots that have been taken. It would be cool to fight 2 Death Omens at once.

Yes I have sunk 1 Behemoth and 2 or 3 Death Omens.:)

I was able to find and sink all 3 of them in one day, the day they were released to the open server. The Moth and Juggy are by far the hardest to come across by the way.
