i sent disney ideas tell me what you think?

i sent disney ideas tell me what you think?

1.my first idea was of corse building your own ship

2.my second was Lord Cutler Beckett him self guarded by 2 assassins in his office on kingshead and found on the highest of eitc flagships he is level 36-40 and is seen only rare on flagships but most often on kingshead.

3.my third idea was houses one you start out with a wooden shack and work your way up to a brick house and finally to a brick palace.

4.My fourth idea was navy and eitc uniforms when you are level 20+ you get a quest to go see a tailor to start work on your navy uniform and the trick is when you walk in forts and yes including kingshead they wont attack you unles you attack them and the ones patroling like port royal they wont attack you so basicly if you wear one of these uniforms you wont get attacked and the same applies to the eitc uniform but it is avalibal at 30+.

5.my fith idea is i think some people allready suggested this but on sloops and war sloops you can walk in the small room in the back.

So tell me what you guys think and if you like the ideas.

icemage 09-07-2008 12:40 AM

Good ideas... Hope disney approves them. I like the house one

yahtzi3611 09-07-2008 12:42 AM

they probaly wont do the ship one though

Chris 09-07-2008 12:45 AM

Good ideas i hope they do most of them.

captainsmith2012 09-07-2008 12:45 AM

1. never thought of that, cool idea!
2. ive never seen beckett but i like your idea
3. Houses would be cool, a place to go afk where people can find you
4. I like it, only problem is that other people will keep trying to kill you lol
5. technically you can, look through the glitch forums to find out how to get out of the sloop and then walk to back of ship and just walk in. fun to walk through door and suprise friends.

Swash 09-07-2008 12:46 AM

Nice ideas I hope they add all of them?

Sven Osymthe 09-07-2008 12:50 AM

these r some good ideas and I hope they add some

salty 09-07-2008 01:06 AM

when ever i get an email from them ill post it so you guys can read it

MacIronhawk 09-08-2008 01:59 AM

In player Q and A some asked about ship customization and POTCO is probably working on that.
Hopefully it will also be building your own ship like you've said.
I would like to see what you have said enter the game.
Building your own ship would mean that we might be able to create our own ship classes.

I like the idea of wooden shaks like toontown.

Again in the player Q and A someone asked about about becoming part of the navy.
But pirates responded by saying that they were planning on a quest which would be getting a navy uniform to inter some secret navy spot.

A small room in the back. Captains quarters.
That would be a great thing if it entered the game.

I like your ideas and I hope they do put them into the game.

How about a banking system like World Of Warcraft... you can have guild accounts (that cost a nice sized fee per month).

I would agree to this option - but only if it was very limited. the last thing I think the game need is another 'gold farming operation'. Sure - a simple way to transfer gold amonst Guildmates is fine - but I wouldn't want to see any trading companies or craziness like that... :)

Dr. Zeppers 09-08-2008 06:44 AM

Good ideas,

Just goes to show, good ideas are destined to be repeated.
Good ideas, #2 was the only unique idea (that I had not yet seen), but that just shows that your not alone in the way you think the game should go :)

salty 09-08-2008 10:28 AM

sorry my mind is kinda scrambled is that the one of lord cuttler beckett?

1. Very original and good idea.
2. Would be good, but, not sure if Disney's cool enough to do such a thing.
3. Not really Piratelike, and gonna be way too much lag, other than that, I'd like a house, just don't seem like you'd need a house.
4. Would give off so much lag for them to make enemies so they don't attack you for a set a clothing. I like the ideas to have the uniforms, just not how they keep you from getting attacked by enemies.
5. Seems like this would be abetter idea for AFK, rather than houses, meaning all ships would get ways into a room and such to be auto piloted if you were alone.

Personally, I think they are great Ideas, I'm not saying their bad, but, Pirates Online has been known for letting people down. I'd hope they'd do something to put this in, but, they'll use some excuse for not having to.

...

In the Royal Anchor (pub on Port Royal with Josie McReedy and Captain Job) you can talk to Shane McGreeny about his side quests - one of which is to get muskets, coats and pants from Navy soldiers. Those quests have been part of the game as long as I can remember.

I want a parrot. And an eye-patch, already. How did they forget these two things?

Scottish 09-08-2008 01:39 PM

i think they need more side quest for clothing, tattoos, jewelry, and weapons. Just keep adding to the game at a quicker pace to keep all the online players interested. We are paying $10 a month to just start another pirate with the same quest over and over.

To Salty: Loved the ideas. Maybe they will incorporate all of them, most importantly building or customizing your own ship. That's an awesome idea and has been since first mentioned.

I don't ever remember ever getting to be a navy.
If we do get the cloths then it's for nothing important as of yet and we obviously don't get to wear them.

I would like to see there be a quest like that enter the game though.

To the above poster. I am paying 60$ a month and will soon be paying 80$ a year. That's the best deal.

The $80 a year sounds good to me. My card gets charged every month for $9.95. I would rather pay for a full year.

Any details would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

salty 09-09-2008 10:15 AM

this is what disney emailed me i took it right out of my email

You can go here.
There will be different payment options and on the 80.00$ a year it says Best Deal.

And wow salty they liked your ideas. :)

Scottish 09-09-2008 03:02 PM

Thanks MacIronhawk. I think i will contact big D and see if I can get it changed over to a year subscription instead of monthly.

Thanks A Bunch!!!!!!

Poison elf 09-09-2008 03:45 PM

Good ideas, and impressive they answered you. I think I have got maybe two answers back ever other than the generated auto responses. One answer was after the character was fully maxed, and was never fixed. Change of topic was the answer I ended up getting lol.

There has been some of these ideas running around the forums for awhile now. Ship engineering would be something we all would like to see. Paying for upgraded cannons and such would put to use some of the 65k our characters all have sitting around.

There is a lot of room to go places, but also a lot of existing bugs. Be nice to see some unique items, rather than everyone with the same quest weapon. Some ideas to travel to worlds end. Spanish/french clothing. Something to do with Jolly Roger, perhaps a full out war players against the skeleton army attacking tortuga or something.

Dr. Zeppers 09-09-2008 04:02 PM

Always good to share ideas with the developers etc. There have been a few small side quests, that eluded to many of the ideas weve heard here, but seem to go nowhere other than the small bit O change, or the playing card we get in return.

When submitting any ideas to big D I would usually expect the auto response that Salty got (yes that is an auto/canned response)

They are adding new quests, the clothing quests, for example. Now these were obviously designed to keep us busy awhile, ive sunk around 100 ships (for the quests) and im still only like 70% through them.. wow!

I suspect they are working in the background on the next story quest, and I absolutely hope they are working on clearing out some of the problems in SvS/Privateer mode before moving TOO far forward.

Another slightly better than paying monthly deal is to purchase the 90 day game cards at $24.95 (like buying 2 1/2 months and getting 3).

Nicholasfunstuff 09-09-2008 07:21 PM

Great, Cool, GREAT IDEAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

salty 09-09-2008 08:37 PM

the first bit sounded kinda original but the last bits were kinda auto responce

P.S. does any one want to fold 60k to me in poker? i need a war frigate bad lol.

Aye it did, likely the responding person using a standard template..
But it was from a person, not automated.

We only hope they file these where they remember them. :)

Captain Seaford 09-09-2008 09:14 PM

Those are good ideas

I can give ya some. You'll have to say what server you're on. :-/

salty 09-09-2008 10:05 PM

are you on now

SaintSarah Mcbain 09-24-2008 02:00 AM

I love the ideas, especially the houses and the parrot of course. I have been thinking on a more simple line. Like, a hand tattoo, for the back of your hand.

Reaver 09-29-2008 03:41 PM

there is a problem with the houses it would take up a lot of server space and likely create lag

A banking system would be awesome fore a guild. You could have sort of
like a business. You could like raid navy ships and keep them in a guild bank
at a guild hut or something. Also I posted in the Ideas thread about there
should be a captains quarters where you can navigates and play minigames.
I also said there should be a feature where when you beat special quest
you get a map piece and when you get them all then you search and you
find a new Island where you have to beat a sertain amount of enemies
and fight a miniboss which will uncover a rare treasure. I also talked about
the sea should be bigger along with the islands so you can explore more
like world of warcraft.

Captain Seaford 10-05-2008 11:44 PM

Yeah, where would they put these houses?
On tortuga? No, It would take up 1/2 of the space!
