Finally Got Test Server Invite
 

Woohoo! Been playing this game since December and finally got my invite to be on the test server. IMO big D must just randomly pick people, because i've been playing the game since right after it went live.

Only problem is starting a new pirate over again. Might need some advice from some of the other testers on reporting bugs back to Disney. I've reported quite a few, but i think you end up reporting more as a tester. Any advice would be appreciated.

Well here - you'll probably want to join the Test Server Group via the information below:

- Just go to your userCP and click on the Group Memberships button on the left.
- This will bring up a menu of different usergroups that you may join to allow you access to additional forums.
- Check on the first mate's button and add yourself so you may post in the test forum.

Then possibly check out the Guilds and Clans forum for the Destroyers Test Guild if your looking for a Guild listed here on POF - though once your on test there are many running around (there are a few guilds on test - and lots of single pirates).

Though I've been spotty on it recently due to Real Life - I hope that once Sept kicks in I get a bit more time to play on test - so I might see ya on there (there are only 2 servers - so bumping into other pirates is much easier).

As for the reporting to bugs - you'll notice on Test the ? Mark for reporting is right on the main screen above your Carry Chest - just work the character, try different things - read the posts they list on the left as you start the interface and if something there catches you eye try to break it :) You'll want to try all weapons and all places (such as discovering the Gun Bug and the Hex Bug) all while questing... its almost like running around like a chicken with no head - you just ry to do anything you can LOL :D

I myself - along with the ? mark to report items I find right away - will send a message (using the e-mail addy given to you in the Test E-Mail you recieved) to them once a week or so of 'my compiled list of broken / wierd items - just so they can't ignore me LOL

And Zeps is coming - its gotta be close now :D And Sarah... we have GOT to do that hook-up before you're like L40 ;) I'm almost to the Padres TP quest and will be looking for some help soon :)

Should be interesting. I've been waiting for a chance to be on the test server for a long time. Now it's time to take advantage of the oppurtunity.

LOL Max. Baby Test Sarah is stll a lev 12...She needs YOUR Help! I've just been finding so much to report that I haven't been concentrating too much on leveling. Life of a tester. Never realized there was so much wrong with the lower level stuff.....

Anyhoo, Scottish (hey i'm in ga too :) ), one other thing I've noticed on test, is that no matter what level pirate you run into (and sometimes seeing anyone else on is rare) they are ALWAYS willing to help. You know those "run by friendings" your high lev pirate gets on open? Well my little one gets them from the big ones on test. It's pretty friendly there :)

Actually Sarah - all my Level comes from Cannon (for testing SvS I kept building up levels there) and Pistol (from when Hex was broken as well as the Gun Freeze in not being able to use other weapons - I kept working that), my storyline is a mess and my other weapons - well - lets just say I probably could kill a muskrat much less a Gypsy with my sword :D

I will try to post when i will be on test to see if anyone else might be on. That might be a good way to introduce myself to test. i appreciate all the good information and that i may actually have a couple of potential friends already.

Max, I took your advice and sent a message to the Destroyers Forum to see if i might can hook up with a couple of their members when I'm on.

Sarah, glad to here you are from Georgia. I have only found a few from our great state in the game so far. Hopefully we can hook up on the test server. I'm in need of a few good friends on test to help me get familiar with it.

I got an invitation too.. the funny fact is that I've been in test since the first beta testing program appeared.

ya, I just got a test invite too, which I thought was funny since I haven't played but maybe twenty minutes scattered here and there all summer.

Congrats to all that got their invites. I love the fact that i got 4 more pirates to work on. The test servers are quiet for the most part. Found a great guild after playing for several hours. they helped me get my pirate Scottish Browneye up to lvl 12.

Hopefully i can meet up with some of the new testers and we can lvl up our pirates together.

I have never posted in a forum before, so if this is not right I apologize. I just got an invitation to the test server about a week ago and have been playing on it constantly ever since. But when I tried to log on last night it said bad account ID or Password. My question is has anyone else gotten this message? My I and password still work on open and on the D website, just not on test. BTW most of my family is from GA and I am from Northern FL just across the border, so Howdy Neighbors :)

Im not on test, but I know a few friends of mine that are, that could not connect to it last night. Not sure if the problem is related or not.

I didn't try to log on last night, but i hear that there are some issues every once in a while. Usually it has been when they are making tweaks to the server, but don't announce it.

Maybe we can hook up on test. What is your pirates name?

Oh thank you so much for the info everyone. I feel somewhat better just knowing it is not just me. LOL Tried logging in this morning and I am still getting the same message. So I guess I will just keep trying.

Scottish my test pirates name is Katrina O'Bonney, I have filled all my pirate spaces on the open server, so I am very excited to have a new one. Although I had forgotten how difficult it was starting a new Pirate! LOL
My pirates on the open server are Sierra Nicole, Nikki, Liberty O'Bonney, and Kitt O'Bonney. I love making new friends so if you see me around I hope that I can add you as a friend.

I haven't been able to get on test since yesterday either, so it's not just you ;)

Both my test pirate and my open pirates name is Scottish Browneye.
Also, my little pirate Count Scottish on open.

I usually play on the weekends at night. Eastern Time Zone.

I will post here before going on to tell you where i am at to atleast get both of you in my friends list.

If anyone else would like to join us this weekend, just post to this thread and maybe we can all meet.

Can't log in right now, I'm at work. Laptop way to slow to play pirates on. It don't lag, it stops working all together. lol
