Can't go up stairs in Light Galleon
 

Anyone else having the problem of going up the stairs in their Light Galleon ship? Each time I deploy my ship and board it, I go straight through the stairs. Because of that, I can't reach the helm. So I am stuck with my light sloop till they fix that.

I had that problem also, so I sold it and bought a light frigate. It only holds 6 cargos :( But even on this boat, I can't go up stairs to use the top cannons. I can only use the side and front cannons.

I am having the same problem with my galleon.:( I did a bug report.

its not just you its pretty much everyone i think. i pulled into tortuga on sunday and saw about 15 other light frigates there. must be everyone!

For now to get around the Light Frigate upstairs cannons... what I do is I jump at the stairs which gets me close enough to those cannons to hit CTRL and use them. Altho I'm up to my abdomen in deck, it's at least a work around until they fix it. And much easier than repositioning the ship so you can use the other cannons. :-)

I can't gracefully exit my ship on Tortuga. Every time I hit the Ctrl. key to jump off and start swimming I remain underwater; even when I reach land. Everything remains above me, and I have to reboot the game.

Same here. I'm constantly having exiting issues.

Although it seems that when I log on I get one time to exit succesfully then after that, need to reboot. But even that isn't consistant. :(

When I tried to exit my ship today on Rumrunner's Island each time i hit the CTRL key I was given a rope and swung back onto the middle of the ship as when you board. Grrrrr
When I finally forced the issue (good glitcher that I am LOL) I ended up under the island and had to exit game.

I have had all of these problems.

A little "trick" I found when that same thing happened to me...

When I fell through and landed under the scenery I was walking and not swimming. So what I did (after trying many things) that worked was this:

I ran near the guy (kinda put myself right below him) then pulled out my sword did a 3 hit combo then the "spin" move (not sure but it may have just been the spin move that "pulled" me closer to the surface)and it popped me high enough that I could hit ctrl to talk to the guy.

try running around to anything you get a green circle and can press Control. especially doors, cuz it will put you inside the door just like nothing ever happened!

Ugh, yes, I just wasted my money on a Galleon. Can anyone tell me how much you get for selling them back? I'm assuming it's like a car, the depreciation starts as soon as you sail off the lot.

Sell for half of what you paid I think.

the galleons are still usable, its just on the tricky side bypassing it (and way harder now that you have to go through the dockworker and are on a time limit).
Simply go through the stairs and the back of the ship, turn around and come back, your head should be a little out of the ground. Then go to the right of the mast and through the small opening to the helm, go directly beneath the helm and press control. Its a lot less work than it sounds but hopefully it will be fixed, I have reported it too.

I've been having the same problem as well. Perhaps if we all report it, they'll likely to fix it soon since many are having a problem.

OFF TOPIC: With this problem, I also discovered a "Flying" bug. When I walked through my ship's stairs, my character would fly off the ship. From there, I could fly anywhere I want until time runs out to run my ship. :p

My friend I found in-game had this problem too.
Right now - I can't get to the top cannons aboard my Light Frigate. At least I can get to the helm!
