Stuck at 85/1100
 

I got my voodoo doll 2 days ago and it's at level 7. I've been using it on higher level things like Mercenaries but I haven't been getting any points for it. It's stuck at 85/1100. Will I get the points later??

Are you basic access?

Sound like it If you are basic access then lvl 7 is the max for you it wont go past that no matter what you kill.

Yea I am basic access but why would it stop at 85 and not 0 or 1100? Plus, there is still one more skill bubble that doesn't have a lock on it.

Oh i remember this problem back when i was basic.If u use ur doll and basic on a big one(enemy) right before u get to level 7 u get rep and thats it. you have to buy unlimited to get more rep. Level 7 is the max level for all basic account weapon level (including sailing).

Level seven? Mine got stuck at level 5... what's up with that?

Yea it's weird, because now my sailing and pistol jumped to level 8 and are stuck again

Theres nothing unusual about whats happening to your account if your a basic account.

They are limited with the incentive to have you upgrade to a paid unlimited account.

I just wonder why it gets stuck for several days and then jumps up, and then gets stuck, then jumps

If its going above basic limitations.. id consider yourself lucky!

What is the notoriety limit for a basic access member?

i use to be basic access and i got stuck at lvl. 7 also. and the open skill called scorch is a glitch which they are trying to fix.(i asked)

I mean notoriety, like the level that's under your pirates name

i know this is a huge topic bumb but i cant resist answering a question:wink:
now the basic access thing has been lifted and i saw a lv 35 in grey name(i think lv 35 is maximum) and they could of raised to 35 but it could that we used to be UA and now is
basic access and one of my friends who is basic access jumped from lv 12(the sued to be limit for nototriety) to 13 so i do believe they raised it to 35 and weapons i dont know

Yeah, thats the problem. Your basic, cap is level 7.

Most basics I see are about lv 12 but when I was basic I was lv 14 then I upgraded.

That is a Basic Member who was at one time an Unlimited Access player - and let their account go. Probably waiting for new content to come out again before re-registering their account...

Unless there some new news I haven't read yet (I had to fix my computer for the last few days) the cap of L7 weapons for a total of Noriety 12-13 is still in effect (excluding treasures of course :) )

I started the game basic access, mostly because Disney needed to retake geography, and was able to get to level 15 on Notoriety with all weapons skills being locked out at level 7.

The way to progress beyond the 12 - 13 notoriety is by sinking big ships with your smallest ship (light sloop was all we had on November of last year) or by sitting off of PDF and blasting away with canons.

The issue that I see now is that with the remaining weapons skills to master (sailing and cannon are mastered, the others are all at 23 vice grenades which is at 10) and no other quests to complete there is a very good possibility that this character (level 38) not be able to reach pirate master; not withstanding any additional weapons quests or proposed black pearl redo's.

To all the basic access out there that are waffling on what to do - remember that you lose a good portion of your notoriety and that can come back to haunt you like me.

Yeah, it's impossible for a basic to get to 35.

Maybe not impossible... but it would take a while theres a quest in a bar where if you do it it gives you 100 rep and you can do it over and over... but yea it would take a while and basic can do this quest i have already checked

Basics cant ascend past level seven for weapons
for a basic accout the only thing you can do is level notoriety by taking advantage of quest experience
(technically no notoriety cap on basics just becomes very very difficult and then impossible once you've completed all the basic access quests)

on a basic the only way to get to sorta mid way levels would be to do all the quests first the do weapons maybe make it to lv15-16

Ok. Just to set the record straight: As far as I know:bookishfj7: , you can only get to lvl 7 with your weapons if you're basic player unless you play as unlimited member and than go back to basic, you'll have the same weapons and experiance that you did when you were unlimited. There are also rare glitches that can occur to increase a basic persons weapon lvl. There is no limit to how far you characters main lvl can increase althuogh it is a hard process to get it above 12. Also, if you have, for example, 1285/1300 rep points for weapon before it lvls up and kill someone and get 30 rep points, the left over rep points go in yourr weapon's next lvl requirment. 1315/ 1500

I am a basic member and lvl 36

The farthest I got on notority with basic was lvl 19, I could do nothing more than raise notority, I may have reach the limit and not noticed, or mabe could have gone farther. IDK
