Please keep in mind that the game is not yet finalized. The link goes to the same form I have filled out before with one additional checkbox which states that you accept e-mail from PCO team and Disney and other select 3rd party yada yada yada.

Anyone else get this?

But no email about being registered or something like that.. Weird..

I haven't got one either. I think I signed up with three different email address too. I signed up the first week or sooner to beta test and I really hope that I actually get too :).

I havnt got an invite either. I think you have to be over 18 to be in beta and im younger than that, so thats probably why.

i want to play too! what do you have to do, just register? i am only 11, so i might not be able too. but i was on vmk in the beta days!

I've only gotten the same email. It's frustrating.

I signed up with a couple of emails and one that I put I was born in 1980 and still no luck. :(

I've got my key and started playing. Have crashed a lot so far.

2 questions:
One: has anyone received a key on a day other than Frida 9th?
And two: has anyone been accepted who put their age as under 18?

Sorry, but why did my thread get merged with this one? Mine was not the same as this one, because it was a LIST.

I a few accounts a few weeks ago. Hopefully one of these will be accepted into beta testing, but so far nothing but the greeting mail.

I haven't even gotten the registration email yet lol. I don't mind, I'll wait until it officially opens if I have to.

Lol i wish i could play it. I had like 3 accounts and none of them got approved yet. :( Lol

Yep. Exactly(sp?) what I did, but 2 weeks ago....

I don't think I got mine yet. I need to check today though.

I don't think I will even be able to play the game, I keep trying to register but It doesn't work.

Where is the list?

You can now sign up to be a beta tester for this salty adventure by simply sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line, "Live the Legend", and your name in the body. Did I mention that the beta test will also allow you to play the game for free? When the game finally launches, there will be a monthly charge to play... just like a pirate to make you cough up the loot.

No guarantees that you'll be included, but if you email soon, you most likely will be... properly warned ye be, says I.

I am wondering if anyone has recieved a beta key lately since the first wave of keys were given out. I havent heard of anyone getting a key besides them and people who went to the fan events who also got keys. I am one who got the email saying I was accepted to beta, but like many, has yet to recieve a key. I believe they will add more in waves. I only know one person who has recieved her key, and she actually sent a bug report, as she found it very quiet that first weekend in the game as she saw no others on playing. She says more were on after the keys were given out at the fan events. I have stopped looking for my key in email every few hours. lol. I just hope that I do get a key in the next few weeks as the server is able to handle more, and they get more stuff done. So has anyone out there gotten a beta key that didnt get one the first week or from the fan events?

Lassie I believe got one from her friend who attended a fan event. Besides that, I'm not sure if anyone has receieved an e-mail regarding beta testing.

As long as it has the same last name as the original account, it should be fine. If it's a diffrent last name, it looks like its fraud :p

Well now when im trying to get back into the site its giving me a HTTP Status 500 error

Server errors, try again later then.

They just have a bit of issues every once in a while. It's common for servers lol

Got mine today.

I just checked my mail and realized I got
mine. I downloaded the software a few
minutes ago, but my RAM is only 512 MB.
Can't make a character.. can't do anything.

Anyone know how to install more RAM?

Upgrading ram is pretty easy once you understand it. You will have to figure out what type of ram you currently have, this can be done by taking out a current ram stick and reading the numbers and one of the mose important is the number that says like, PC-2600 or something else like that and you must buy ram that is the same size as the ram you already have in there or else you will not be able to startup your computer. I suggestion reading your owner's manual like my computer came with a DELL manual which came in pretty handy as it had a diagram showing where the ram is located on the motherboard and maybe what type of ram you have or need to get. Once you have the ram, you can just snap it into an open ram slot on your motherboard (hopefully). I also recommend a lot of internet research like on how to install ram and such. With enough knowlege you should be able to do it yourself.

hey! when you got your beta key, did you get a message from them with the title "Exclusive Game Beta Access!" ?

LOL I forgot, I have a VISA Gift Card, btu considered still as a VISA. :rolleyes: I dont need my mom's credit card.

I'm part of the beta! I got my key the other day!

I got my key on March 30 about three weeks after I expressed an interest. My problem is that I can't get any credit card to validate. I've tried mine, my husband's and my mom's. It never leaves the screen. I sent an email yesterday because I'm starting to panic; the email says to claim within 7 days. Anyone else have this issue?


Finally got it working. I had to create a completely new Disney acct (per the guy on the phone at Disney) despite the first page saying I could use my old one. Original credit card went thru instantly and I'm now off and running!

I got mine March 30th. I just checked my email today because I'm on vacation without my other family. When I saw the email my jaw dropped, because I knew I wasn't going to be able to activate it soon enough. I sent an email asking my sister to do it all and she did and I'll be able to play by Sunday.

I got my key on March 30 and then spent a frustrating week trying to validate. Chap at Disney finally told me that I had to create a brand new account in order to validate (despite being told to log in with an existing acct). Once I did that the validation went in immediately.

I got mine a week or so ago and i thought the game was cool but had so many probloms i just started playing vmk and i would restart playing the game tomorrow and it worked pretty nicely.

I also started about a week ago. I got my key with the new batch of players. I am having fun with it!
I signed up last summer. I think I may have signed up again in March when I wasn't in the first batch. I am signed up with so many Disney sites these days, it's getting harder to remember which ones I visit.

Oh, no. Nothing like that. It's just between Disney Shopping,Disney Visa,Disney Movie Club, Disney Movie Rewards, VMK, Toontown, Disney Stock, Disney Vacation Planning etc and so forth, I input my information in Disney sites a lot. It gets jumbled which site I sent what info to and why. So, I think I signed up for beta again in March, I know I signed up last summer. So I am unsure which yielded the beta key.

The original acct that I signed up with to hope had my then 5yo son's age (when I created it for Toontown) on it and I still got an invitation. When I tried my beta key it didn't work with either the 5yo's acct (which only I play) or my parent acct. I had to create (per the chap at Disney customer service) a completely new acct in order for age verification to go through. I also didn't go thru the link to become a beta tester but the one on the official site saying I want more info. I got my key about three weeks later.

I signed up on March 20th and received my beta key on March 30th. Despite the bugs and glitches I still love this game.
