need help Chapter 3
 

Hi all! I really need help finding Claude D'Arcis. He is supposed to be an assassin looking for James Pidgley. I have found the other two guys, but can't find him. Help!!

That's exactly where I am. Been here for a couple of weeks. I assume it's not programmed in yet. Will keep trying.

(I was stuck on the Fort Charles desk Quest for a while. After an upgrade, the desk which was not there was suddenly there).

I too have this quest and cannot get past this guy. Not sure if he is on an EITC ship or somewhere there are some EITC officers.

Just got back into the game. Looks like i need to retrain all my weapons, but there is a message in my quest that says the EITC soldiers are in a cave on tortuga

I was in that cave yesterday, take back-up with you there are a BUNCH of soldiers in there, six of them ganged up on me and I was gone before I could draw my sword.

Where is the cave?

If you are working on this, so am I, we can team up, they are hard to kill. the cave is in the back of the jungle behind the mansion. look for Jane Redhawk

I was able to finish the Claude D'Arcis Quest!

It was completed in the cave on Tortuga. After defeating a "Hired Gun", it mentioned Quest Completed!

There are three inner island entrances from the village. Facing the village from the beach, the rightmost entrance (closest to lumberjack) eventually leads to a cave area.

(The other two entrances are linked. The leftmost entrance is found from the beach / swamp area (left of crocodile and jail exit). It leads to a swamp area and loops back to the middle entrance).

How did you kill him. They seem hard to kill, i keep dying. I am using my voodoo doll and a lot of elixir

The cave on Tortuga: Run through the middle of town and past the tavern that Jack Sparrow is in, when you come out of the town there's someone with a covered wagon, go behind and to the right a bit and that's the entrance.

I am stuck on level three, prove loyalty. I have completed both quest, (kill guards, sink ships), but can not move past. It just keeps saying return to Gibbs. Is there something else I need to do?:confused:

When you take it back to Gibbs in the tavern on Tortuga he does not accept them???
If so I guess all you can do is file a bug report. He should take those quests and start you on another.

Restart the game, I had that same problem and I restarted the game, and he let me turn them in.

I am stuck on the Desk Part! Does anyone know where the captains desk is in the fort? I could not find it.

When you leave the prison, turn right. See the area on the right side where you can go in between pillars. There is a doorway into the office. Watch out! The captain is in there, but you can get it before you die! Good Luck!:)

I found the desk and barely made it out with the lag!

If Anyone is working on the Cave part of the quest, let me know if you need a hand.

Those guys are brutal! I lasted all of ten seconds against them alone...

I Did it! and alone, I did not fight the Hired gun as I kept trying to do, he is almost invincible... I waited till he walked off and stalked the other guy Thug Level 10. I was going to try and separate the two and attack them one by one but when I beat the Thug level 10 it said I completed the quest!

I took it back and now I am on the Tattoo removal.

I can never get the two apart. There is always one level 16 guard there and a level 8 thug, I try to take out the thug, but the level 16 guy comes over and helps, and I am instant toast with him there.

there are a few areas with just 1 EITC guy alone, check out all the caves.

What I do in that situation is shoot the one I want, then run back a bit away so I can engage him without being near the high level one. I'm a "puller" by nature. :D

So far haven't been ganged up on.

I hope someone can help... I'm supposed to smuggle rum to Port Royal (oooh goody!). I went to Orinda and she was supposed to have it loaded but it isn't? I've been on and off the game, computer on and off since getting the quest (been working on others). Went back to Andrew & Orinda. Been on my ship numerous times.

Is there something I'm not getting or is it a bug?

All I did was travel, via ship, from Tortuga to Port Royal. When I clicked the "end adventure button" the quest updated.

I got a complete on by killing a Grunt I think it was. So I'm assuming that killing any EITC can drop the hankerchif (sp?) that you need.

i searched all the caves on tortuga and have not found any eitc soldiers, i have found british ones but no eitc ones! i got the graveyard part but not the hankercheif or the guy on the ship.
