yes.. yes... YES! except increase the prices on those improvements. But your on a roll!
|
Aye, you are just full of great ideas, aren't ya? ;)
|
This is awesome! I would make one suggestion, add a bit more to certain things such as the bow of the ship. Skeleton, Mermaid is cool, Shark could be another such item, Whale even. A Wolfs head, Hawks head.
Something theming the ship so when you name it you can give it a real fun look. So let's say you named your ship Sea Hawk, give it a Hawks head at the bow and maybe blue sails. Something along those lines. Designing the ship to fit the name so to speak. That way the ship truly is unique as much as possibly. Also I think new ships are in high demand, Junks and other such ships. |
That would be good, but the prices are a little low, if this were to happen, all the prices would need to be in the thousands to limit the market.

I don't think being able to choose how many cannons you have is a good idea, but a lot of the rest is spot on. You're giving alot for me to build on meself: I'll update my threads soon.
|
Those are really good ideas i hope they add them
|
Good ideas!
Also what about the pirates skull for a sail? Aren't there 13 pirate flags with skulls on them? Of course i'm sure disney would think of those first. But what about painting your ship? Ex. A quest to make your ship look like a navy ship. Get a sail from a navy ship then paint your ship like the navy ship. Obviously putting out a long line of events to get the paint. |

Nay mate! Flying ships are going way into Final Fantasy and I love those games but leave em out of me pirate games! IF you wana fly and be a pirate play Final Fantasy XII or Skies of Arcadia! :laughks2: |
PART TWO: PRIVATEERING SAIL COLORS.
french: french flag spanish: spanish flag chinese: red with a lions head american: old american with 13 stars dutch: dutch flag britan: brittish flag bretheren: skull and crossed swords alabama: confederate flag with lyrics to freebird! lol. just kidding about that last one. lol. |
The Brethren don't have their own colors each captain gets his own. So you should be allowed to design your own flag. Taking basic pirate flag images and placing them on a flag.

I like this idea, and it has a great potential, but, there is something that I do dread about this idea. See, you can't get level 40 sailing, but, you can get to 25, and the prices for cannons should be per each cannon. Then there should be different types of cannons, such as golden cannons, and elegant cannons, all kinds of them. But, I would also think you should be able to get Special Kinds of cannons from Special Quests. Such as some that boost cannon reloading and shooting speed, some that power up your shots, maybe even create a special side effect to all of your Cannonballs. Something like a Silver Cannon, a cannonball shot out of it will tear any undead ship up with great force. Probably not one of the best ideas to get many of these cannons, unless you have a special ship you use to sink undead ships. But, if you could have multiple cannons of different types, you may have a pretty good build for your ship. Just be sure you know what you're buying before you get it, or else you may pay dearly for it in teh future.

look at my new lvls, quests and, skills thread. as for the new cannons for quests, i'll add that to it later.
|
Can you get a discount for those ships? Lol but i do think that those improvements are extremely costly, and pirates arent normally that good at holding on to money
I just remembered the other day, i had fourthousand gold, and then two thousand mysteriously fell out of my pocket. I never found that gold again. |
Wouldn't It Be Awesome If Our Ships had Cabins?
Wouldn't it? You could hold meetings in it. Im not sure what else you could do in the cabin, but it would still be cool. A captain's headquarters on the ship would also be awesome. What do you think?:)
|
I think its a great Idea i would love a place to store my pirate while on the open sea.
|
i have thought of ship customisation, and of new ship types. and if basic access could get the whole light class of ships the its a BIG OK from me!
|
hang on chaps, i've got a great idea!
this is all a great idea but if you told potco of your idea then you would get laughed at...
i don't want you to be laughed at! howevr they might consider little things like flags, im sure everyone would love to make there own plag in ms paint or photoshop and then send it in to potco, who then in turn could paste it on a flag template (e.g: a moving flag) just a thought... http://i114.piczo.com/view/3/1/g/7/5...55_46612_3.png |
Wow nice job with that list. I definently think ship custimization should be added in the future.
|
OR OR i have some ideas instead of purchasing thoes things premade paint it your self EXT EXT then pay a FAIR price on the things
|
i like your idea man id love being able to go inside your own ship it would rock
|
You know what, Roger's idea is pretty good, as far as uniqueness goes: the thing that'd be most allowing as it goes for uniqueness would be to have multiple flag templates where we select the color of a section of the flag. Next thing that would be up there I'd say are your sails: the same thing as it goes with the flags would be marvelous.
After that, ship color. If the ships have something like a statue on them, then that'd be the next thing. After that though, it'd only be extra. I don't stand for customizing how capable a ship is in combat though, and I don't like the idea of anything lagging up seas further. |
The captains cabin causes too many problems. like other ships would be attacked by your cannoneers. and below deck, you would see cargo but cannon broadsides going off by themselves is just too odd. loading the ship would take forever since its custom. sorry for being negative but those problems are too big to over look.
-lvl20 Edward Burnskull Sailing- lvl 11 Cutlass- lvl 8 Pistol- lvl 7 Doll- lvl 9 Dagger- lvl 4 Grenade- lvl 1 Cannon- lvl 7 Staff- Locked |
I think the "captains cabin" idea was basically to be like a "home" for the pirate/member. Not necessarily a room actually added to the ship that would be under such powers that be. At least thats the way I see it. We all should have a captains cabin.. we can go home too (even if we dont have a ship for that matter).
Basically similar to ToonTown, but our "cabin" instead of our "home". Or perhaps our own "island" like our own little ToonTown neighborhood shared by all the possible toons we can have on our accounts. |
