A funny thought...

Have you ever pondered...

How your pirate ALL AT ONE TIME carries:

A cutlass
A VooDoo Doll
A VooDoo Staff
A Gun (Plus ammo!)
Daggers - including all the ones available to throw
Grenades - again - all the ones to throw - specially those siege ones. ;)

AND... all the cannonballs

It seems like they pull all this stuff out of nowhere, and I always have a funny mental picture of the inside of my pirates coat looking like something Inspector Gadget would wear. (Maybe she has a hollow leg?)

I mean, yeah.. I know.. its just a game. But it makes for a VERY funny mental picture to think about what it would look like if all the stuff they carried was reflected in the animations.

Mine would be lugging around a cart that the in-game gypsies would envy.

Hmm...

:mybadki6:

League 06-20-2008 09:58 PM

I thought of a) squires, b) regurgitation, c) hyperspace cubes, d) super boddesses, e) shrunken weapons that just need water, f) super-pactation, and g) creation on the spot.

Those're the only reasonable explanations.

Nelly Darkpaine 06-20-2008 11:27 PM

Hmm... Weapon Capsules perhaps? Maybe they are all "Ronco Pocket Weapons" ???

Or, Nerf? (Squish em to store!)

Weapon Space Bags? Hmm...

Any other theories?

Dr. Zeppers 06-20-2008 11:40 PM

Ronco Pocket Weapons?

But wait theres more!!!

Perhaps its all stored on that shelf above our heads.
Ya know, that one that shows us our name/level.

Hmm havent inspected my multipurpose pirate utility belt just yet either.

Diego Birmingham 06-21-2008 12:30 AM

The insides of your pockets exist in another dimension!:laughks2:

Nelly Darkpaine 06-21-2008 12:35 AM

Thats gotta be it... another dimension.

And yeah, Nelly has spent days running from her personal info floating above her head. Kinda creepy.

And on that note - no wonder theres not many heavy pirates - we RUN everywhere. Imagine if real life were the same. Ill be back.. I need a drink.... (Sprint!) Huff.. huff... huff..... Whew.

Im surprised no ones passed out yet. I get tired watching em all. Get a SMALL break when I get head butted, or a little dazed. (She slowly walks away... now THATS The time Id be running in reality - that guy just head butted me.... Later!!!)

aqamarina 06-21-2008 12:44 AM

Super bodices, haha ;) Apparently our pirates carry around some sea chest to hold all that stuff... but how do they carry the chest ;)

Nelly Darkpaine 06-21-2008 12:58 AM

Maybe the sea chest is... is... Magic! Its disguised as the name floating over our heads. :P

Ok.. now thats just silly. I prefer the idea of the Ronco Weapons.

emmalemmalemma 06-21-2008 01:28 AM

Maybe the the other dimension is in the sea chest? Maybe it is like Mary Poppin's bag.. Or like Merlin's bag that walks behind him.. His bag walks behind him, doesn't it?

League 06-21-2008 01:36 AM

Yeah, I got that super boddesses thing from Jack: "Unless you got some sails hidden under that boddess... unlikely." And yes, perhaps there is an extra-dimensional pocket or shelf that has an invisible door. Iunno really.

Wheelsim 06-21-2008 01:44 AM

Well the staff, doll, gun, and sword makes sense on were you could put them. Nades... not so much.. But you know dont actually use he cannonball until you go out to sea. But then how do you get them out to see if you have to buy them first.. well yeah.. thats what i think...

Dr. Zeppers 06-21-2008 01:45 AM

You're reaching into another dimension -- a dimension not only of fortitude, and skill, but of worth. A grab into a wondrous pocket whose boundaries are that of
imagination. That's a crossbones up ahead: your next stop: the PIRATE Zone!

Bella 06-21-2008 11:27 AM

The whole thing reminds me of Elizabeth in the third movie when she is being searched by Sao Feng's men......And just where exactly did she hide all that stuff?........

Bilgepump 06-21-2008 02:23 PM

I keep them in my pants.

Steely Jim 06-21-2008 03:25 PM

Steely got his clothing second-hand from Harpo Marx....

Katie Scarlett 06-22-2008 05:51 PM

Well, the shopkeeper that sells the cannon balls could deliver them to your (or a friend's) ship for you.

As for the rest of it, I attribute it to Disney Magic and Sorcerer Mickey. :mickeypiratezd4:

League 06-23-2008 02:09 AM

Disney magic? Works for me. League out.

LiraEnos 06-23-2008 02:59 AM

Everyone knows extradimensional pockets are standard issue for video game characters.

How else would Sonic carry all of those rings? Wait, he's not wearing any pants. Hmm...

TooHip 06-23-2008 03:43 AM

Three words: Time Lord Technology

League 06-24-2008 02:36 AM

Time Lord Techno Loogy? Ain't that five words?

dangerousden 06-24-2008 12:30 PM

I have a trunk that I bought off a Wizard that knew Harry Potter.....

Swordfish.

CaptainZeke 06-24-2008 01:00 PM

Maybe we keep 'em inside our ribs after we turn skelly...

League 06-25-2008 02:04 AM

Well there are magicians that swallow swords, ain't there?

That would absolutely crack me up, were they to do that for April Fool's Day. I suppose they'd have to limit us to just fighting with an odd item model, but it would be even funnier If I could fight a little with the swordfish, then pass it over to my foe, mime that they should hold it up like a fishing trophy, produce a Brownie-style camera that covers them in soot when I take the snap....

Sarah 06-25-2008 01:00 PM

Jim, I think a Kilburn would be funnier than a Brownie.

Steely Jim 06-25-2008 01:07 PM

:pirate81: That's hilarious!

I'm sure the devs are glad that gives me such a mental picture, because I'm pretty sure they'd have to start working on the animation sequence now to actually put in for next year.

Roxar 07-04-2008 04:42 PM

Y'know those really beefy pirates with muscles of iron? I think thats where they store all their weps.:laughks2:

John Warpaine 07-08-2008 03:34 AM

Me? I think our lil' avatars keep their goods in pokemon balls. Hey, if a Charizard can fit in one, a seige charge should. And electrode is basically the same concept, right?

Gorams 07-08-2008 04:02 PM

Another funny thought is where do all the ships go when we don't use them?

Pirateprincesspearl 07-09-2008 10:25 PM

Hmm yea I always wondered about that one.

davy redflint 07-09-2008 10:39 PM

we hav really deep pockets lol

astrocamstar 07-10-2008 06:26 AM

Maybe the put the weapons in the chest, and put the chest in a box of cereal, then they shrink it with some voodoo magical power, then they drop it in their pockets, when they're hungry and ready for battle they eat it, then they magically throw up the weapons they want! :D it's that simple.:bookishfj7::mybadki6:

hk1777 07-27-2008 07:59 PM

the ships your not using go into a bottle like a ship in a bottle except its bigger....a lot bigger

Nautical Nattie 09-02-2008 09:24 PM

I honestly don't have a clue where my pirate puts her Siege Charges, and i can't work it out. :) Let's leave it up to that Disney magic ay? lol :psmiley35:

davy redflint 09-03-2008 02:34 PM

dont talk to loud or big d will reduce r ammo for all these item to.
