In PvP, are we living or undead?
I wonder in PvP, are the players considered living or undead? The reason I ask this is because certain skills are effective for one type but not another, such as Banish, silver shot, steel shot, etcs. I am just wondering what skills should I put points in to be able to give me an edge in PvP.
Thanks in advance. |
Good question. As I understand it, we're neither.
yeah, we're cursed.. like the movie.. Okay, I totally made that up but it makes sense with the coins.. Right?
yeah there is no advantage shooting wise.. since were are neither or both.. :O
So since we are neither, I guess those type specific skills such as banish, silver shot, and steel shot do little damage in PvP?
Actually, I think we are undead...
nah then everyone would be putting theyre skills points on silver is it silver? anyway either way you should be putting all your skill points on steel and silver anyway.
Can sombody confirm that silver shot does more damage than steel shot in PvP or the other way around? thanks.
yes, you are considered undead in pvp. if we werent why would the pistol work in pvp? also, check the website amnd go to adventures on land and look at the code part of the pistol section. hope this helps
Hmmmm sammyh does have a point there... heh anyways we look like we're undead anyways.. look at us.. we're skeletons and we're ugly when we're in pvp ( or when yer outside of pvp doing the glitch which i can magically do ) ;)
We are just... temporarily dead. I think we are still living, and not undead, but are just skeletons. I think of it sorta like General Grevious from Star Wars. he is sorta like a skeleton armour dude and is mostly robot, but still has living body parts. (That may not be the best example, but otherwize it is the curse of the gold.)

The references to the types of shot are made for thier application in the game, and not tied to PVP, so the question is valid. Its not what wether we think they we are alive/dead/undead, etc. Its really comes down to what special shot types are more effective against PVP players? Silver shot, or Steel shot?
Its going to require someone do some testing in PVP as to which types of shot are more effective against other players. Anyone know which of the two shot types pertaining to this question (Silver, and Steel shots) are more effective in PVP? |
We are considered UNDEAD :skull: Because We are skeletons no? Last time I checked Walking Skeletons are Undead. Barbossa and his Black Pearl Crew were undead. So no were not Undead. But Barbossa is. and those skeletons are. We are LIVING DEAD. :skull:
This purpose of this question has diverted due to its original wording.
The actual question here is... In PVP which skills work best against other players? Skills effective against undead? or Skills effective against the living? |
We are cursed, like in the movie. Notice we can't really die in game, we just get thrown in jail and get groggy.
I know we're cursed, but I was wondering...when (and how) do we use said coins?
i think were like stumps stumps in theory are dead trees right? but silver shot sucks against it so i say were like stumps or davy jones crew we look ugly and look undead but were still living sorta oh and the coins are showed in pvp team battle as blue and red for each team

Cursed maybe?
Well when we do PVP we're cursed/undead. And for privateering we're living. |
I just tried Banish skill in PvP,well it is not effective at all. At one point on Banish and one point on Soul Flay, Soul flay does TWICE the damage as Banish. So my conclusion is that the skills effective against undead is not good for PvP. Now the question is that is the skill effective against the LIVING only effective in PvP? I have no way to test it out because I maxxed my pistol already and I didn't put any skill points on Steel shot.

I agree with Camage, we r the living dead, but also we are cursed like in the first movie
