I have all the current ship name options you can have, so you can decide without having to scroll through 4 at a time. It may not be anything real important, but it may help you.

I'm still kind of disappointed that they don't have Gold as an option...I really wanted to name my War Frigate the Gold Fish. :tongue8:


Oh, and names:
Ali's war fleet, from smallest to largest: Sea Lion, Red Dragon, and White Wolf.
Piper's sloop and galleon: Shadow Runner and Shadow Dragon.

I wish they would let us personalize our ships names. I really dont like being part of the pack using the same name as Joe Blow there. Until then, I'll keep my Hunter names.....

BTW, my war sloop is the Black Stallion :)

Ooh, I'm gonna like this thread. I've spent twenty minutes on at a time planning on names for my personal fleet. I have a friend and guildmate with one of my pirates that loves alliteration (she's kind of low-leveled, so she messes around alot while I do other stuff) in a joking sort of sense: so, with that pirate, I've come up with these 3 names for my future War Fleet- The Headhunter Hunter (Sloop), The Bountyhunter Hunter (Galleon), and The Cutthroat Cutter (Frigate).

All I know elsewise is this: I want a War Frigate for one of my pirates, probably Artful for the first, to be named the Star-chaser Dragon; a War Galleon for another, League I guess, to be called the Buccaneer Defender; and I want a War Sloop called the Fortune Queen-again, probably for League. The set for Artful is to be somewhat devilish, and for League, up to pesonal preference in an Imperial Empirical sense.

I only have a Sloop which is the cutthroat demon. And thats a reference to sweeney todd.

LOL I have a BountyHunter Hunter - well, it was my light sloop.

But my War Frig and Gal is 'Black Executioner' and my war sloop is the 'Red Bull' (It gives you wings! LOL)

I'll second this as this is a feature I'd like to see added to the game.

I'd also like to see a feature added that would allow players to change their pirate names later in the game if they wished to do so. Just so long as the new names met acceptable guidlines.

That's something I beg for. Every pirate's ship from me is known as The Fugitive Defender. It has special meanings to me and me alone.

This thread really should be stickied: if you can sticky an emote thread, you can sticky this. Or maybe it shan't, as there is a missing word and this person doesn't seem to be around to edit it. (Remember my goings with the emote thread, just alluded to in sentence prior?)

Star-chaser isn't up there. I know simply because I planned naming a ship with that title. (That'd be The Star-chaser Dragon, an allusion of a certain sort.)

Perhaps they'd let us have custom titles if they just added a slot for a first word and a slot for the second word.

Agreed there League - in this case the thread was posted at the time where there were not many Mod staff and stickies had to be set aside to just keep up with post moderation...

As it has resurfaced - I hvae sticked the thread, with the condition that it should be reviewed for accuracy now and confirmed in a few days by someone. Should the list be old / not updated then we'll unsticky it and let someone make a new list (should they feel inclined... remember - you get the sticky - you get the upkeep :D )

Bilge Demon( light sloop)
Cuthroat Revenge ( war galleon )

Tonights a good example - I've had to read 74 threads with about 260 posts, 4 deletes, 3 merges, 2 major changes, and sometimes answering some on them takes a bit of time and I do a few typos :)

As it is the orginal owner of the thread must keep up the list (like Ironhawk does with the Pirate Masters Thread). If TwistedX updates the thread in a day or so then it will continue to be stickied - otherwise I'll remove the sticky and another list can be generated (but I will wait a few days to see if the current OP updates the list).

there should be at least a feature that would allow you to change the name of your ship. like the point trainers.

I don't know about renaming ships: I actually don't like the idea of that.

I usually choose one of the following for my ships:
Vagrant Seafarer
Shadow Hunter
Red Crest

However, I do have a couple of anti-social pirates and they don't want to say the names of their ships. ;)

I liked the name The Red Revenge, dunno if I'll get that one in. The Vagrant Lion, The Dark Destroyer, The Star-chaser Dragon: my names to be with one pirate, perhaps a hopper if the Guild Circuit ever takes off. The (insert word #1) Fox, The Fortune Queen, The Victory King: the ship titles to be of my namesake: The Royalties are warships--the Fox isn't.

I think The Red Revenge, Crimson Crest, and something else, not a color, may be those of another. Dunno really.

I name all my ships shadow demon as my pirates is Arioch Lord of Chaos

And I find it quite fitting that a Demon lord should have a ship named the shadow demon.

Actually during privateering when sinking an enemy ship I have been know on occasion to utter " And the Lord Taketh away" in local chat so that the enemy ship knows exactly who sunk them.

Not just the ship but the captain at the helm.

Disney should let people pick names for the ships just as they do pirates. why not? after all they do get the final say after all and can simply reject a ship name.

Funny, "The Magic" isn't in this list. :-)

I almost named my sloop "Red Bull" but I decided it was too common. Instead, I decided on "Sea Crest" just so I can say "Sea Crest, OUT!"

I don't wonder at all. Quick database edit on their (the GMs'/Disney devs') back end and they get a custom ship name because they're special.

I know they can edit their cfg's on the backside where we do not have the option. If we could edit our cfg file, ooh, that would be special. Not going to happen though, ours will have to go through the approval process. :laughks2:

i have these ships:
light frigate: iron defender
light sloop: iron runner(im changing this to iron executioner when i get the war frigate.. i decided to take out the light sloop for my war frigate :D)
war galleon: iron plunder

My ships are Original Light Sloop that was a gift from Elisabeth:Red Cutter ,Light Galleon:Renagade King,Sold light sloop:Shadow Voyager, My Privateering Light Sloop ( I even bought it a Ile d'Etable de Porc):Midnight Voyager.
