Recover a chest of family heirlooms from a ETIC Marauder
 

I have sunk at least 10-15 Marauders! How many do you have to sink to finally complete this quest for Solomon O'Dougal?

ive been on this quest for 4 days. I need help

Hit the spawn off the coast of Outcast. It took me a few fillups with the War Galleon to get mine. Thankfully I also had a quest for 15 EITCs too.

Thanks! After about 5-8 more, I finally got it near Outcast.

Yeah, this one takes awhile. It's not any 'particular' ship (other than its a eitc marauder), I believe its still somewhat random, but doing it the 3rd time now on my 3rd pirate, and each time I gave up focusing on it, and did other quests, and those hierlooms finally got found as I pursued the other quests.

Oh.. of course, ya always got to take a shot at that Marauder you see when your still lookin, but I stopped making it the focus of my activities.

I've learned to knock off about 10 of the "get EITC" quests at once. Funny to see all the pages of Items complete/quest updated that pop up.

Yes Angel lol. Doing 3 or 4 EITC quests at a time and it can take 60 seconds for the quest boxes to finally clear.

I got the heirlooms on my 21st Maurauder.

OMG i tried helping my best bud do this for over a week i think we gave upat one point and didnt even converse on if it gave or not..... sunk many mars... finally got it..... but we found the drop so NOW WE KNOW

:dancetl6: Out of all the new quests i had the biggest problem finding the heirlooms also..frustrating hitting all those marauders for nada. It was one of the first quests picked up and ended up my last. When i couldnt take it anymore i dropped it ...it was only 10% by that time and picked it back up the next day then i got it only after 3 sinks. :psmiley35:

Hate to even say this. I sank about 20 of those things. Look at the name of this part of the Quest. Hunt for Marauder. So it will take a while.

What quest is this?

It's part of one of the new Tattoo quests. Visit the different tattoo parlors and you can now get quests for tattoos not available to purchase. You can also get new Jewellery quests by visiting the jewellers.

took me about 25 times before I got the treasure. Just need to be patient and think about all the reps that u r racking up:buds:

I highly suggest gettin the spawn between Padres and Outcast for the Marauders. Makes it so much easier than hunting for them.

Guess I was lucky. It only took me 5 ships.

It took me about 25 marauders before I got that Treasure!

I got lucky - found them on my first marauder (though I had totally forgotten about the quest).

Go to Padres Del Fuego to find Marauders theres about 3 at all times floating around but beware their is also about 3 pirate ships and navy ships all around level 20 to 30.:piratear:

Omg im still stuck on it, HELP!

I sank about 7 in a row with my galleon it was part of another quest I was on it gave both quest completions to me.After the 7th 1 it gave it to me just stay with it once you decide to go for it don't go off on other quests.

I started on this quest at level 11, I am now at level 20 and I have yet to sink a marauder with the heirlooms. I don't know how many I've sunk already (it's been a LOT), along with getting my ship caught up in the phantom ships that'll sink your ship with one shot. But yeah, I've been hanging around outcast, I see them, shoot them down, but still nothing! I really would like to continue on with this one, but it's gotten really frustraiting.

I have sank 12 the past couple of days not 1 has counted I make sure I even highlight that part of the quest when I see 1 but no luck.Also they are getting very hard to find Good luck!

HA!! After changing my normal server (to the second one down from the top), Marauders were everywhere!! I sunk maybe 3 before *poof* the Heirlooms appeared. Sheesh, if I would have known to go to one of those servers, I would have in the way beginning, but usually they are always full, I guess I got lucky. lol

I recommend go on your own ship. Sometimes there are quests that have a higher chance oh geting the loot if you go at it alone. This mauruder quest that i did recently got it fairly quickly by going solo but took like 30 kills when crewing up. Hope this helps!

Finally got it complete!!! and I only had to sink 22 Marauders to get it. Got the flagship glitch going as I was helping a newbie to learn how the cannons work. Saw a marauder sailing by and when they sunk the ship I got a complete. We were out by Padres Del Fuego.

Oh, hopefully I get it soon. I've already sank about 10 mars and I'm getting tired of looking for them, but I'm rather determined.

Are there no other spawning places for Marauders other then around Padres and Outcast? Must be my timing or something but I can never find them near those islands anymore, I just seem to come across them randomly else where. I'm getting flustered now, previously I had found them respawning near Outcast but after sinking 10 or so I can't seem to find them there anymore. I'm now on day #3 of spending some time looking for Marauders before I give up. :x

Ambassa Ocean server, if you can get in......And I found them right behind Tortuga. It's kinda funny once you complete this, Marauders appear everywhere after that. lol.

This is what you do. You ask your guildies if their sailing. Then you ask them if they can watch o ut for mauruders. This expands your search by a whole lot more. Then you go to thier ocean when they find one then they crew you. you kill it then if you dont get the item you go back to a diferent ocean a continue your search.

Killed 9 more today before giving up and still no heirlooms. I seem to come across them more often over towards Kingshead. I'll have to try the server idea tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'll have to try getting my guild to help. This mission is starting to get under my skin now.
