POTCOF Meet Up!
 

Now that more members for these forums seem to have a beta key, I was thinking that we could plan a day and time so we can all meet up in the game and add each other to everybody's buddy list. I know I have a better time when I play with my friends. It's understandable that there are numerous bugs and glitches in the game. Hopefully over time, these bugs will be fixed and the game will be more enjoyable. Until this, why don't we give this a try and see how this goes. How does everybody else feel about this?

I'll show up with my least buggy pirate. There is more than one server as we found out today when we tried to meet up for sailing.

We may be a bit challenged since we'll be limited to communicatin' using just the stock sayings. Or maybe it's just me that gets 'blah blah blah blah blah' when anyone tries to type at me.

How about the prison square? That seems like a cool place to have a meet up. We can have a ceremony like in the movie. :)

I know a few members (including myself) had their accounts purged last week. It's kind of a bummer since I put in a lot of hours playing my pirates only to have them deleted. Oh well. I guess that's the price with "beta" (meaning that nothing is final and everything is subject to change). I'm thinking perhaps we should hold off on this meeting in the mean time until beta ends. That way we can get more members and possibly put off another disappointment if our characters are deleted again. However, if some of you still would like to set up a meeting, even with the chance of having our characters deleted, then let me know. I really don't want to waste anybody's time, but it's all up to you all. What do you say?

It kind of would be pointless for everyone to meet up before the public release because they are going to delete our pirates for the release, so why waste time adding people as friends? I even gave up on trying to complete quests, lol.

Ah, I wonder if I can pick the same name when it opens to everyone? At least I am getting the hang of everything, and where things are. It has been fun figuring things out! :)

That's what I'm doing! Learning how to do everything and figuring out where to go so when beta does end, it will be much easier to play. :) I'm still going to build up my pirate again though. They can keep deleting it but I will continue to build him back up. I guess it's just "fun" to play overall. :)
