"April" Updates fast becoming "May" Updates?
 

I could be wrong on this, but initially I thought that the weapons upgrades and all the other various updates that went with it was originally slated for an April release. We're getting down to the wire here if that is still the case. Or is the release date on this update now just hanging in the air until the bugs are ironed out on Test (as much as possible) and we should just be looking for something to happen in May? If this is what's happening, unfortunately I think that we are definitely looking to a late summer release for the next chapter update. I can't see another major update coming close on the heels of this one.

Actually, I think that with the clothing release (back in February), they did make it a couple days before the end of the month. Which is what I am hoping happens here with these updates. I could use the rep, grinding my way to 40 in Tormenta is a real P.I.T.A. :pirate6:

Well, to keep with their word, they did release it in April......on Test!

I agree with Nick, its Disney..they use false advertisements.

but really they meant it for test servers

when they first mentioned new weapons, it said test server late march and live game in april.. so really, they're behind.. again.. at this rate it'll probably be christmas before the next chapter is released

Hey there's still 2 days to go in this month....

I realize this is going to sound like a defense of Disney, but nevertheless...

If you've read the last two Test Server Updates, you'll know that there is a heckuva lot of new content coming: A dozen new quests for jewelry and tattoos from NPCS and the 5 new weapons quests (which are fairly long & involved). Plus, there are a slew of other new game features -- from ammo pouches and a tattoo inventory to improved whisper chat to modified Crew bonuses and the "No Stowaway" feature. There are also a few new graphics, special effects and animations.

As one of the Test Server players, I can tell you that I've been playing there for hours on end -- and submitting more bug reports than I ever have before, too. The first update a week ago was especially prone to crashes. But this past weekend has been almost "crash free". Even though there are still one or two wonky things happening, I'm guessing they are very close to finalizing these latest updates and releasing them on Open.

Awesome. That's some very exciting news to hear! And I definitely understand that this update might just be the most impressive one that we have seen to date, so I can imagine that it's going to take some time. But to hear the progress...oooh, that makes me all the more anxious!

As I mentioned earlier (other posts) I would gladly wait a few May Days to get a good update :) Good Luck Storm :)

The new updates on the test server are very interesting. The ammo pouches look to be quite useful. just have lots of gold when restocking lol.

There is a weekend coming up. Could that be an update on live weekend???

we were talking about this earlier and what they actually said if you reread the fine print..... they said they would be loaded onto the test server by april... nothing about the reg..... i thought the same thing too coming in april right yea like they'd do that

As of today, only one more day left. Theres 30 days in April.

I hope that they could release it tomorrow.

But for now, I guess it would come out in a range on May's first two weeks.

2 more days in April. I know Disney and have been around them for a while - the updates are coming tomorrow. Mark my words.

Aye, I know Di$ney as well as anyone does. I may not know the trivia, but I know their personality.

Seeing that they put in the Basic Access improvements, I can see why they really kept it moving with the updates. More Basic Access players will come to the game now, and more will buy unlimited access.

OMG starting from scratch on installing it takin forever!!! This better hurry up or I will have to resort back to my old PC :(
