Kraken
 

I've heard a few rumors about the Kraken appearing and taking ships to Davy Jone's locker, but I've never actually seen it(obviously). Is is something just in Beta/Test or are the rumors fake?

There might have been one at one time, but not anymore.

I have never seen Kraken while playing this game in Beta 1, 2, test, or open.

There has not been one in the past, but in the future on the other hand, maybe..

maybe in the future (HINT: look at my sig this was taken from the E3 game show Before the beta 1 release so it might be coming

I thought if you sailed past the hour limit that the kracken came and took you to jail? I could've sworn I read that somewhere a while back... I've never had the patience to test it

Nope doesn't work. I've been out past the hour, and all that happens is you sink and go to jail :(

Someone by the name of Hunter came and smacked me around, then I sank. Might have been on test. Can't remember.

we spents 2hrs looking for the kracken if you read the cannon shot grape shot it says sea monsters the internet says its coming with the next update not in the game yet but heard rumors if you shoot that harbringer skelleton ship you see the kracken

They have videos on the Players Channel that reflect a few seconds of a kraken attacking a frigate (see the aforementioned sig graphic). They have at least one video on the players channel ( i think the 3rd in the sequence) that a developer shows, and talks briefly about development of the kraken, and shows it sweeping a player off the deck of the ship.

Yea, i saw that! Hopefully there will be a kraken in the future that we get to like battle or something! That woud be REALLY cool!
