Another Complaint
 

I don't have any complaints about the Pearl its self..other than its a bit boring, but I think you should be able to go anytime you want...I mean all of my friends have already completed so anytime I feel like doing it I gotta run around like an idiot asking people if they've done it yet. It would be nice if they made it so you could be able to do it whenverr, what do ya think?

I agree. I would love to have the option to do the pearl battle (minus the 2k completion reps of course) over and over. I wanted to see if I could complete it solo now that Im mastered.

That would take some mad skillz haha, have you tried it yet?

Ive done it about 40 times on my big Pirate, but was ripped out of doin it on my middle pirate due to being Discod before Goliath, yet still got credit :( I tried it on Angel and made it as far as the last set of bridges on my second try. I think now I could do it and complete it.

so u can only do the battle once i thought u could do it as many times as u wanted

my idea is that potco comes out with a series of "battles" where u are using the pearl trying to do something

You only get to do it once if you complete it. unless you join crew on someone else's battle.

Angel, like you I wish I had tried it alone. Least I've done it was 2; me at my current level and a level 28 on wheel. I think I could give it a good run, as can you. Guess you need to start yet another pirate lol.

Disco'd is disconnected. Ive already got 4 pirates in play. 2 of which have done the boss. The other 2 are just weapon mashers no pearl questing.

I haven't finished it yet. I've only tried it twice, solo. I keep getting blown up at the second set of bridges. I can't quite deliver enough firepower fast enough to prevent the ship from getting sunk (cannon is 5 in thunderbolt and fury).

No hurry, though.

I definitely think they ought to make it so that you can do the Pearl battle more than once. At least keep the solo option, but better if you could do it with a crew whenever you want to as well. They are going to lose customers who will get bored without this additional, continual challenge, unless they release some new material quickly.

I tried solo with my big pirate and could never get past the final set of drawbridges - after a couple of days trying I went and got a buddy (another L40) and the two of us got the Pearl done.

It'd be interesting to see if any solo player has gotten the Pearl (Otherwise, why to they have the 'give it a shot solo' button?)

I'll admit I'll play boss battle to lvl up my cannons :) It's been working really well! But I've only made it past the fire bridges once I think. I'm waiting to *really* to the boss battle until either a) there's a new chapter to follow afterwards, or b) i hit lvl40, whichever comes first.

I got past the officers alone with only a tonic and mad voodoo doll skillz lol, but died at the bridges (curse my bad sailing skillz...) I finally had to get my guildmaster and a few friends to help me and I got past it no problem :D but I'd like to do it again D:

I Finally got do do the battle last night, thanks to my excellent guildmates :)

I'd love to go again, if only to take it in. I was so concerned with not screwing up, that I really didn't get a chance to fully enjoy the sceanary LOL. In fact i still may have screwed up a lot....but at least everyone was kind enough not to say so :)

So the only way to go again is on a crew of someone who has not done it, right? Eh, I'm sure there will be another chance. Having the "go it solo" option taken away stinks though.....although I'm not brave enough to try that just now anyways :0

Ya, last night I helped out a chick named Jade and her crew do the quest. It was the first time Ive ever done it. I still have awhile before I need to do it for myself.

I had tried it solo as a lvl38 with mastered doll, sailing and cannons. I made it to the goliath but his 2nd fire broadside sank me. I eventually got a crew of 5 together and completed it. They were all in there 20's. I now have done it 12 times. I feel like a hired gun now. I wish I could try it again alone, I'm sure I could get it. And I am now a pirate master. Woot!

:degen: As soon as it became available I tried it solo with my lvl 38 pirate and beat it. I'm not bragging it was very very close!!.

I really didnt want to beat it alone just check it out. I have now gone throuh it 11 times with others.

Me, and another guildmate had finished the quest up to the boss battle point.

It had been our intention to do it once with my character to 'finish' his quest, then do it again on my guildmates account to 'finish' his quest.

Well, apparently one boss battle finishs all. My guildmate's boss battle was finished/removed and he never had opportunity to even click the button.

Whats with that? Each pirate should at least get to initiate the boss battle once!!!

SO... if your at the play the boss battle stage, DO NOT join another crew to do someone elses boss battle unless you want it to also count as your own.
