After the Black Pearl?
 

Is there any major quest after the Black Pearl? Or is there going to be one?
I'm about 5% away from beating it, and I am getting curious.

Yea i always wondered... wat happens after the boss battle, just sit & wait again for the an update.

They tell you to master your weapons. My journal is completely empty. They will be adding a new chapter later, but until then its back to hackin away.

That seems kinda boring.. =/

Well, I had been led to believe you could redo the Boss battle, someone took the helm when I did it without my permission, the game wouldnt let me take it back. The mutiny'd crew did happen to beat it, but it finished it for me, and now I cant actually 'play' the boss battle.

You can redo it, but you must be invited onto the crew of someone else who needs to do it.

I wasted a month on a character, and now I must start over again.

Well, I actually have a 2nd pirate I can do it on soon, but im not sure its worth it now.

Im considering a cancellation instead.

I too was a little disappointed that there is nothing after the quest but to level up. I have taken to helping others. The game hasn't lost its shine yet. I am looking forward to the news of a new quest.

TPTB Said there would be major updates quarterly. The next is scheduled for the summer. Knowing disney and updates though, it could very well be the last day of summer....but we'll see.

Yeah they are expanding the game once in awhile. Since it's new, we just gotta give them some time. Before you know it, The next chapter will be here

Yeah, all that is to do after leveling is wait for the story update.

I've heard rumors that the next big story quest is something about a Padres Del Fuego headstone....but I myself wouldn't know since I'm only 33 percent done with the Black Pearl. xD

(Not that I've finished yet, but) I think it'd be a good idea right now for them to update that Kingshead teleportation totem that's got everyone scratching their heads. Lol. Just when will we get it?

If anything the next story quest will follow the second movie. Since the first quest was based on the first movie.

As for kingshead, I'm a fully mastered pirate and still dont have it.

yeah i replied that in another thread about how next will be davy jones stuff since thats the second movie. i cant wait. i always wondered why they didnt have the kingshead done yet

arrrr! i lost the article there was an article from disney stating that elements from the third movie will be coming summer of 08' now if u look at my sig thats the kraken and davy jones in the game these were taken in the E3 show before even beta 1 was released so maybe they just cut alot of stuff to release the game and then they will use them as updates

Interesting rumor... It would explain why there is a hidden cave entrance by the pub with Blackjack (cannot recall pub name). Behind the huge boulder at the end of that street is a cave entrance that goes nowhere at the moment. If you glitch the volcano, you can swim over to it and get inside, though it goes nowhere.

this reminds me supposedly the next story quest is supposed to be about you finding totems to sail the black pearl bc apparently u need special voodoo powers in order to sail the black pearl

sounds like fun, as long as I get to sail it! I couldn't imagine what the first person to get a black pearl will feel like . . . . incredible. Everyone will come around to see it.

It is likely that sailing the black pearl would end up again being part of the Boss Battle. I think it unlikely they will have players sailing black pearls around the oceans. It would be easier just to add Schooner class ships to the shipwrights for purchase.

That wouldn't be fun if everyone had a Black Pearl.. Using it in Boss Battles is what I hope they do. It'd be pointless to have us recover it, and never use it for the rest of the storyline.
