Is the game based on the first two movies?

its based on its own timeline, created for lots of character appearances.

yea it kinda runs on its own because will turner is still a blacksmith hiding from the navy however elizabeth is still living in the govornors mansion and somehow the navy has the black pearl

Barbossa is alive and cursed, the villain is roger, Govenor swan and joens are still alive. Its really odd...

Another question:

Do you fight Jolly Roger and Davy Jones?

No, so far the farthest in the story you can go is Fighting off the Golitah with the pearl. after that theres no story untill the expansion.

yes this game has a long way to go there is no davy jones (his crew however are here) there is no kraken no singapore, shipwreck cove, locker ect. but if u look at my sig pic its a pic of davy jones i got this from the e3 game preview so it means they are working on it it just has not been released

soon you'll be fighting Davy Jones and Jolly Roger right? I know I am slow lol. There is only one chapter for now?

supposedly the few people who have compleated the boss battle before it was taken down got a message after compleating the black pearl quest saying coming soon another quest and apparently u cant sail the black pearl until u compleat the next chapter which is finding totems because the black pearl can only be sailed by someone who has these totems. as far as jolly rogers role in this game is basically to have and arm (the undead) and 4 ships and thats all for now

it would be great if we can have a print screen of that msg. I'd love to know that there's more to come after we finish that quest.

I think it'd be weird with skeleton ships and the undead undead, with no Roger, though I guess we'd all assume those ships to be part of Davy Jones' fleet, which doesn't exist. He sails solely on the Dutchman. Roger if need be exists there only for the sake of a plot. However, you may see more of him. Who knows? Certainly not me.

On a different note, I like Seabeards and really want to see Jones.
