Do u get to own and use the Black Pearl ?
 

I've heard that after Story Chapter: Black Pearl once you retake the Black Pearl u get to own and use it. Is this true?

yeah only if you take down jack sparrow..hes a level 100 pirate...so have at least 3 level 40 friends and a good healer..

or maybe i just took too many meds..

no you cant..that would be pointless anyways, should only be one black pearl ever, the day the sea is full of the same ship i'll quit..

We need to be able to own more than 3 ships in our fleet. I mean it says we can own all 9 ships if were unlimited, but it wont allow us to own them a the same time?!? I want a Goliath sozed Pirate Ship

When I did the black pearl quest in open, we didn't get to keep the ship. If, with the remake of the battle on test we were able to keep the ship, I'm sure we would have heard.

So I think the answer is no.

Darn! that would be so kewl if u actually got to keep the pearl. It should have like 20 broadsides and 20 cannons lol.

I would just like to have FLAMING BROADSIDES LIKE EVERY OTHER NON PLAYER SHIP

And lightning, and Fury!!! Depending on our sailing skill we should be able to upgrade cannons like that!!

Maybe they will add those on in a later expansion. Im hoping we can all move past our 40notoriety and 25 weapons......

BTW, if you could keep the pearl it would be useless as a ship.

The pearl when used in the boss battle has no broadsides.

Just imagine a thousand noobs going after the big ships with no broadsides....

THat would be interesting though. I've always wanted to sail a War Frigate with Black Sails and no broadsides...

yea it would be awesome to own the black pearl but then again eventually you would see 1,000,000 black pearls sailing and nothing would be special about it

The comment your referring to I believe was intended to be humorous sarcasm.

You do not fight against Jack Sparrow.

At least not in any of the currently available / known quests.
