The El Sudoron Exit?
3 Attachment(s)
Tonight, I managed to enter the other door of El Sudoron (you can access it from Beckett's Quarry in PDF) and I found this mysterious town/room in PDF!
It's just like Port Royal, Tortuga, Padres but it's when you exit El Sudoron. But, there are many Undead Grenadiers or those other hard skeletons to battle. Has anyone even entered this mysterious room? - This town is complete with Customization shops - This town has a pub w/ NO games to play with a bartender - There are many dangerous enemies - There is NO jail - Once you look at the ocean, there's is no island surrounding I am asking: Has anyone reached this part of PDF before? We managed to get in with my other two friends I know in real life. |
That's the the "Padres Beach". Quite a few people go there to level grenades and melee weapons on gypsys and grenadiers. The raiders only spawn around the edges of the zone, so if you fight near the buildings you can level pretty all your weapons to 20 with ease.
Shifty~ |
Yes, that is Padres' beach side community. LOL You can also get there by swimming around to the left when you are at the docks.
It doesnt take long, and you dont have to go thru Becketts Quarry and El Sudoron. They also have a clothes store there. |
My favorite training spot on PDF is on that end of El Sudoron. It's sort of like a little sampler platter for the rest of PDF...undead, Navy, EITC, and even a pair of Stumps. I pretty much weighed anchor at PDF about halfway through 21 Notoriety, and am now about a third of the way through 25.
I like the little cemetery across from the Navy/EITC tent. When I first found it I was working a group of 3 Undead Gypsies (around 1 Raider and 1 Grenadier). After a while, the Gypsies started respawning as Grenadiers, but after about 15-20 Grenadiers it'd cycle back to respawning Gypsies. Pretty much everything, except 1 Navy mob, will disengage should you need to temporarily retreat to the entrance for some emergency healing. Ammo is convenient to buy on Padres' beach, but you have to go back to PDF proper to get more tonics. |
lol padres beach thats nothing new lol

Some people don't know this, but to get there you don't have to swim there is a cave by gunner and by the fort that you have to run through and it takes you there.
|
For people who might not be familiar with Beckett's Quarry, when entering the cave near Fort Dundee, go toward the EITC mob on the stairs, then go to the stairs on the far right across the big chamber of mixed Navy/EITC mobs.
If you go from the first EITC mob you see when entering Beckett's Quarry, then toward the stair (this one is off to the left from where you enter this first mining chamber) guarded by Navy mobs, you'll end up going the back way into the Catacombs. |

If one wants to use Beckett's Quarry to reach El Sudoron, then one needs to make sure one does not leave Beckett's Quarry in the direction of the Catacombs. So, to be more precise I was expounding on what was previously stated about using Beckett's Quarry to reach El Sudoron, specifically to elaborate the separate destinations reached by different egresses.

Ya, a friend just showed me this last Tuesday. Now I go there to lv up. Its a dang good spot.
|
my friends and I lovingly refer to it as Club Med
|
That's the padres beach. I level my low level weapons there.. like grenades(10) and pistol (12).
|
Wow, I never known that. Thanks all. Thought it was new... :o
EDIT: I found it a bit easier going to Padres Beach without stumbling those hard enemies. Instead, I swam to it, but actually take a few minutes to get there. It can be long, but a little easier. |
What level ranges would be good to train here? I want to try it but I also don't want to die! Ha. Anybody know? I can kill gypsies, stumps with voodoo, grenaiders and stuff like that but not like Tormenta cave stuff yet. I don't know about raidors? I think I've killed one once with voodoo.

yup padres beach great place to lvl nades or moderate weapon lvls (15-20)
|
Okay great! :D Thanks.

It mostly seems to be Gypsies, Grenadiers and Raiders. The raiders are mostly back by the entrance although I have seen some closer. There's also at least one fight gong on between Navy and undead- usually Officer v. Raider but today I saw Sgt. v. Brigand. But there are shops there so you can get more ammo (gun and smithy). There's also a tattoo parlor, jeweler, barber and I think tailor. They mostly only attack when provoked so you can go solo but I had a few instances where I had a pair of gypsies or a gypsy/grenadier combo. I love hex eater shot. Neutralize the gypsy, take out the grenadier and then finish off the gypsy. Or bring a crew and go nuts. |
i just went there its cool im just training on the brigands and the navy seargent thats killing another brigand.:dancetl6:

A friend and I spent most of the day yesterday there levelling up weapons...it was a lot of fun. I levelled up my cutlass, pistol, doll, and grenades without any trouble.
Arrrr. -Essie:sttongue: |

The stores are actully new with the upgrade - only the Sword and Gun shop has been there before the upgrade... and the new shops there kinda dont make sense (it WAS a ghost town because of the rampant undead except for the few who stayed to 'stick it out' but now theres a full town? Congrats on finally finding this location though - the run through Becketts can be confusing and even harder to fid the way back (though I dont know anyone who actually runs back through)... |
You can run back through?!? LOL I just port back or set sail from the dock there. Occasionally when I was workion on lvlin my nades on the stumps, I'd run back to them from there.
