General Game Discussion

Looking to form a guild of Adults who play POTC online.
  • Any level
  • no skill necessary
Only requirement is to not be a begging, attention needing, or rude person.

While being a big kid playing on line games, it's still good to have others who can relate to having responsibilities and know how to behave in public. Even if it is Virtual.

Please let me know if your interested.

:plunder:

Mother of five who's old enough to know I should be doing other things besides playing POTCO all day!

(You're not really asking a lady to reveal her age!!? :xwink:)

My age may be 18+ but i'm still a big kid

disfan_2 12-12-2007 02:08 AM

Hi Silver.
I think the guild is a great idea and would love to join.

CaptainSilver 12-12-2007 03:26 AM

Thanks for the response
What age?; No real limits as long as mature.
I learned quickly just how free some (usually children) seem to feel on-line to be inappropriate, rude, and so on.

That's the only reason I sent out the post for an Adults Guild. It wasn't to say all kids are bad. I love good kids.

But, I'm a busy grandfather who is enjoying the POTC Online escapist entertainment, and don't have time to take away from plundering to deal with rotten behavior.

Eliza Shipwrecker -
That's some amazing stats! You are a pirate Queen! It would be an honor for anyone to have you with them in their guild.

disfan 2 -
You found the message board. Thanks for signing up! I know it will be enjoyable with you around.

I finally got approval of a name and a guild name.

I've I tried every variation of "Long John Silver" I could come up with. They kept rejecting everything, and finally they approved "Johnathan Silver"

I gave up on trying variations of "Treasure Island" for a guild name, so I went in another direction and they finally approved a guild name; the "Tortuga Warriors"

I'm on East Coast Time and these days on POTC most evenings aprox. 6:00pm to 10:00. I'll figure out to set all up that are interested and post it here.

Thanks again for the response

Johnathan Silver

quill_fire 12-12-2007 06:36 AM

poor poor outlawz. I like your quote. very nifty. *pat pat*

disfan_2 12-12-2007 06:47 AM

Fantastic! I'm looking forward to getting the info.

~Jade Heartbreaker~ 12-12-2007 06:47 AM

I am in the 18+ age range. I was not yet in school when the Origional Star Wars came out. OutlawZ I love ya!! (You are more than welcome in the Burning Legion as far as I am concerned. And if you wantd in that bad why didn't ya mention it when making the logo for me.)

We have kids in our guild and they are much more mature than some of our adults. If someone gets out of line ask them to stop and if they don't boot them from the guild. A lot of kids out there play the game better than the adults. I know I have taken advice from my child.

Vagrant_Queen 12-12-2007 07:45 AM

Ahoy there all. I'm Captain Syra Jade. Perhaps ye best be callin' me Syra so as not to get confused with the lovely assortment of Jades we have. (We're not related are we? *looks confused*)

Captain Silver, I've been looking forward to meeting ye. I'm Disfan's daughter and have heard quite a bit about yer guild. May I humbly request to be joinin' yer crew?

Eliza Shipwrecker 12-12-2007 06:06 PM

My grandmother used to say "never ask a lady her age or how much she weighs."

I'm not afraid to admit my age - my kids tell everyone how OLD I am.

An adult guild sounds great - keep us updated!

Silver Beard 12-12-2007 06:39 PM

I think it is ok to have an adult guild, but another to treat kids like scum.:xangry:
I am a kid so I don't think you would want a "Little kid" like me here.:mikec:

Requiem 12-12-2007 07:12 PM

Hi guys.

I am posting this in the thread as a reminder to everyone that Personal Information is not to be shared on the forums. Please keep age out of the discussions, and referr only to kids, teens or adults.

Thank you

You took the time to post that you've already joined a guild, so I assumed you had no more need to subscribe to this thread. I didn't have time to respond directly to each individual who posted.......

I'm sorry that hurt your feelings.

"quill_fire" sounds nice, she gave you sympathy.

Great to hear from ya! Yes welcome aboard Me Hearty Lass!

I'm impressed with your graphic and quote from the movie. great work.

You also have Gandalf as your avatar! I'm a big fan of LOTR; the movies, and the books. If fact, I'm in the middle of re-reading it and already halfway through Fellowship of the Ring. It helps me calm down before going to sleep after all the virtual plundering.

Thank ye Cap'n! After sailin', graphics be my greatest love. Though, sorry to dissapoint, but that be Hector Barbossa, not Gandalf. I must take me hat off to Master Gandalf all the same, he be a fine character. And Lord of the Rings a worthy tale for anyone what need get lost in an adventure.

I wrote askin' that very question. Apparently the way it be workin' is that only forum members can be viewin' yer profile, so if ye be chosin' to put yer age there ye may, though it not be recomended. Anyone can be viewin' the forums as a guest however and yer information would be more widely spread. Therefore the rules be a bit more strict.

Hope that be of some help in the confusion.

CaptainSilver 12-13-2007 12:44 AM

Ah yes, I see it now. That's clearly Capt. Barbossa....

Embarrassed for the mistake.

I wouldn't be embarrassed. The avatar is such a close up that he looks very much like Gandolf .

Syra is very talented at graphics and coding. She is constantly amazing me.

CaptainSilver 12-13-2007 04:44 AM

No Doubt. Nice Artistic eye.
My Niece took up doing graphics and websites a couple of years ago. I thought 'oh that's cute' .... Long story short; she's only 20, now does it professionally, and will soon be making more at it than I ever will in my career. LOL Keep up the good work Syra It could pay off.

Guild Question;

If any of you know, please post; how do we meet within the game after joining the guild? I know how after someone is on your friend list, but not a guild.

Thank you to those who've joined. I saw your names listed under "Guild Members"

Now that they list the servers, it may be that we just have to set a date and time and list the server's name. I don't know how convenient that will be at different Time Zones. I'm on Eastern Time USA.

I'm going to research this more later. It's late here and need to get back to reality.

Thanks for all of your responses

~Silver

disfan_2 12-13-2007 05:26 AM

That's a very good question. I have no idea though. Syra and I are on Pacific time. We may just have to arrange a time to meet like you said.

Vagrant_Queen 12-13-2007 05:32 AM

Wow! That's awesome :D I know that there are some great jobs out there if you're good enough. Not sure if I'll ever make it that far but it's worth keeping in mind.

I've looked and can't find a way to go to a guild member. Or even talk to one for that matter. Rosa has found out how to talk though, she introduced herself. (Sorry Rosa! Didn't mean to ignore you.)

I can usually be on between 6pm and 9am your time Silver. Earlier if it's more convenient. So if you'd like to set up a time and place let me know :)

~Figment~ 12-13-2007 06:05 AM

I know I'm not apart of the guild, but here is my 2 cents....

You can freely chat with guild members by using the guild tab in your chat box. As for "going to" a guild member you cannot. In BL we use the guild chat to figure out where people are and then teleport there to make friends. That's the best way so far. If your friend's list is too full, you can crew them, this is another way to teleport to them (sadly the crew resets eachtime you log out) Hopefully Disney will add more features to the guild menu......*sigh* In BL we also have a guild server/ocean/sea to use.....that might be helpful in your guild. It's just a thought

hope to see ya in POTC

Bella

When meeting people I usually pick a spot like the docks in Tortuga through Guild chat and make sure we are on the same server or "ocean". TaDa! Good Luck and Good Plunder!

CaptainSilver 12-16-2007 01:04 PM

I received a friendly message from "Captain Grizzly" about his guild "Bad To The Bones" as being a mature group similar to what I was proposing.

I replied that I appreciate the offer but we've already started the "Tortuga Warriors", and We will consider "Bad to the Bones" as a Brother guild.

His reply was;

'Not a problem, we at BTTB wish you much success with your guild.

Keep an eye open for us in game, always glad to help out when we can.'

So, if you see a member of the Bad to the Bones guild, maybe say hello.

Vagrant_Queen 12-16-2007 04:22 PM

Wonderful! I'll keep an eye out for them. It's always nice to have more people to play with, especially when sailing.

CaptainSilver 12-16-2007 05:23 PM

I was looking over the "Players Q&A" on the official web site and found the following cool info. :

'I was wondering why some POTC online players (avatars) over level 30 can do things like play a guitar or sweep with a brush??!! What is this and how do they do this? Thanks!

This sounds like a case of our DEV's showing off! Stay tuned for fun emotes that may be unlocked by certain quests and notoriety gains.'

Looks like the staff of POTC Online are looking ahead to keep things interesting!

Captain Grizzly 12-16-2007 07:45 PM

Look forward to running into your group in game. Always nice to work with proper pirates and rouges.

CaptainSilver 12-18-2007 02:45 AM

Thanks Rose, We'll do that.

I just didn't want to sound pushy. LOL

CaptainKidd 12-23-2007 01:03 PM

Hey Pop it's me sneezy from neopets and vmk! Even though I don't play neopets much anymore.
I loooove this game but can't sign up for full version and my computer dosent do to good so the free version has bad lag. Maybe one day Lol.

You started a Adult guild! what's it called. I bet it will be cool like your neopet guild

My name says Swabby. How do I go up in rank? Does it change after so many posts.

CaptainSilver 12-24-2007 04:25 AM

Hey sneezy, glad you found the message board. They don't know me as Pop here. It's ok though.
(I'm Hunter's Pop in VMK and Neopets, and the real world, LOL and some just call me Pop)
Welcome, my friend. Captain Kidd, that's a good name from a real pirate. I'm surprised it wasn't already taken. Is that your user name in the game too?
Maybe one day you'll get on the unlimited version. In the mean time, I'll send you a code that you'll use to join the guild; the "Tortuga Warriors" if your able.

It's a small guild so far, but everyone in it is super nice, and as I said to Rosa in-game, 'I care about Quality of members, and not so concerned about Quantity'.
It's really easy to shoot for the most members, it's another to enjoy their company while online. As you and I have talked about in VMK, I hate how free some feel to be rude and/or inappropriate. I think it's because they're not face to face with a person. Or maybe their just not raised right. LOL

Oh, you can change the "Swappy" yourself. Go to Quick Links and choose "Edit Profile" from the drop down list. There, you'll be able to change all kinds of settings. Don't feel bad, I didn't know about it for a while either.

btw, Guild members, you're all officers, so you can generate codes to give to future guild members too. There's no real enforced "age limits" just please, try to use good judgment.

Thanks for the good times I've enjoyed with each of you while in-game!!

disfan_2 12-30-2007 05:59 AM

I thought that I'd pop in to say hi. Hello Sneezy. I'm Meghan in the game and am in Captain Silvers Guild. I am trying to collect some mud from Big Gators in game. The only place I know to find them is Cutthroat Island and that place is a real pain! If any of you know of a better place please let me know. I'd appreciate it.

Cubkyle 12-30-2007 07:06 AM

For as many people as Neopets claims to have, I rarely actually hear of anyone saying they play it!

CaptainKidd, I've heard that the free version of Pirates is very laggy due to the fact that it's constantly loading ads in the background. Maybe you should try purchasing a month of Pirates to see if it works any better.

Ducky Wucky 12-30-2007 02:32 PM

Is there any plans in the future to bring this guild to the Test server? I would love to play with some of you. You all sound like wonderful people. But sadly I don't have a membership with POTCO Open server. It would just be too costly having Toontown and POTCO. So I'll just have to stick with the Test server for now.
I wish the best of luck the guild! Have fun! :)

-Ducky

Demyx 12-30-2007 10:16 PM

Ahoy, if your still needing to get the mud, I did it by going to Cuba. It was quick and easy. Maybe we can get together in the game and I'll help.

I want to say a big thank you to Rosa in the game. I quit trying to get passed a point in the Black pearl quest because I missunderstood where to go. After her help, I've been sailing with it. So, the more helpful people we can get in the guild the more fun we all can have.

Thanks Mate

Morning everyone,
I read the posts in here, and pm'd Captain Silver about the possibility of joining. Happily, he sent me a code, and Enrique Swordsilver is now a member of this fine sounding guild. Little bit about me, live on the east coast, am on EST. I work overnights, so am usually on in the am, till around noon or so. If theres a time y'all manage to get together, I'll try to meet up with you. Thanks for having me, and enjoy your day =)

Elquinjena 01-10-2008 01:13 AM

was wondering if any in your guild play on PST or west coast time in the evenings?

CaptainSilver 01-12-2008 02:56 PM

Syprus,
I sent you a couple of codes to use in-game to join the guild. We can meet while playing after that. You sound just like what the guild was started for.

Hazumil asked this question in a PM:

Ilsa Cangrejos arm quest
Hey there, I am on this part of the quest, and I remember you did it earlier. Can you tell me where it actually is dug up? I searched for a half hour, lol

My very weak answer was this, if any of you can do better in an answer, please help our ship mate:
__________________________________________________ __
I went back to see, and found it. It's difficult to describe, but here's my best attempt; get out of the boat, go left. it's in the sand. go toward groups of rocks but not all the way. Not too close but close to group of rocks with two palm trees coming out of it, it's in that area. if you turn and face the ocean, you can see Tortuga toward the right.

The Island is full of places with trees, and groups of rocks, so it's hard to say any better. It's like saying; 'it's beside the crabs'. LOL.

I'll try to meet you on line and show you if that doesn't help.

Skurvyskull 01-22-2008 07:43 PM

Hello, I just started playing the game this weekend, though I am Notoriety Level 13.

I've noticed it is difficult to find a decent crew that actually knows how to hit a ship with a cannon, as most of the players seem like children. Been looking for a slightly more mature group of people, that when they do have the time to play, like to actually get things done and not just make a fool of themselves.

Hopefully you'll consider me for your guild, I mostly play on weekends, though I may find time some weeknights. Name in game is Sam Skurvyskull.

Hello, I'm a relative noob to online gaming. I am an adult and I'm very interested in joining the Tortuga Warriors. I have been wandering around the Caribbean as I do quests, looking for someone in the guild

Bootaneer

Looks like this may be a defunct Guild

CaptainSilver 02-15-2008 01:55 AM

Captain Grizzly
Thanks for that tip on the sub-forum. I'll do that sometime. I like your guild web site too.

Bootaneer
No we're not 'defunct', just sometimes busy with the real world. You're more than welcome to join. Would love to have you, but know that quite often, I've been in-game and no one else from the guild is online. It's just the way of busy folks, and this guild will be understanding of having responsibilities away from online games for periods of time. Part of why I felt an Adult's guild would be a good idea.
Please let me know if your still interested and I'll rush a couple of codes to you.

Vagrant_Queen
Thanks for bringing a bit of humor to the board, even if it was at disfan's expense. I love it, LOL

Bess 02-15-2008 01:02 PM

Stopping by to say 'ello

I don't know why it took me so long to find this thread but I wanted to stop by and say hello and ask anyone who may see me in game to stop and say hello. Bess McMorgan. My forum name is the same as my game name. I too am old enough to be most of the player's mother or even grandmother and would love to hang out with some of the more "settled" players. I am in a guild now after dropping my own guild for lack of interest and don't feel it would be very fair to drop out but that doesn't mean we can't have an alliance. I have a few "friends" who I really enjoy seeing on line but for the most part, find I get bored if I'm alone and am getting rather tired of being asked to be someone's girlfriend every hour or so. I don't play enough to be very high level but I try hard and am always willing to help out on a quest. I've been trying to remember names from the forum so if I see you in game I can say hello but wanted to say please stop by and chat if you see me in game - just remind me you are from this forum - the memory is the first to go you know.

CaptainSilver 02-18-2008 02:24 AM

Thanks Bess!! We'll be looking out for you on line. I don't blame you a bit - If you've found a good group that helps keep the game fun, by all means you should stick with it. Thanks for takeing the time to say hello.

Crazyguy36 02-21-2008 05:34 PM

Its a great idea that you had Cap'n Silver. It would be greatly appreciated if I could join your guild. Im personally tired of having little kids on my ship shoot at everything that moves.
Name:Angel Wildkidd
Notoriety:20
I live in the west coast, and play 1:00pm to 5:30pm Mon-Fri. I am an adult.

Angel 02-21-2008 10:31 PM

My Demona would love to join in the Adults only Pirates club. I'm over 21 and below 90. LOL j/k. I'm 30 and growing.

Only requirement is to not be a begging, attention needing, or rude person.

While being a big kid playing on line games, it's still good to have others who can relate to having responsibilities and know how to behave in public. Even if it is Virtual.

Please let me know if your interested.

:plunder:

Sounds like a great idea. I fall into the over 30 bracket (pushing 40). But old pirates just get better with age right ?!? :degen:

I never beg and do not require attention other than what I happen to inadvertenty draw upon myself. (usually from doing something completely idiotic).

I can't say that I am rude but I do tend to speak my mind. Other times I rarely speak at all. Mostly depends on my present mood or if I am fixed on the task at hand. Mostly I am the most laid back and easy going individual you will ever come across.

My playtime tends to vary as I travel a lot for work. I do play from work when I get the chance though :27: I also tend to be online around 6pm - 10pm est.

Welcome to the Tortuga Warriors!!

____________________________________

To all members,
I took Captain Grizzly's good advise and put in a request for a Sub-Forum "Tortuga Warriors" with Batleth. I'm sure he's busy and it may take a while, but keep an eye out for it above the regular threads instead of under the thread heading; "Adults"

Thanks to you all for being a very friendly, and cool, adult guild (Mature Kids Welcomed)

padoc38 02-23-2008 05:10 PM

I am interested in joining an adult guild. greater than 40 here. Was thinking of starting my own guild maybe called the over the hill gang or maybe the old gray haired geezers.

disfan_2 02-24-2008 01:20 AM

Welcome to all the new members. I haven't been able to get on very much lately, but am looking forward to playing with you all.

SydneySandollar 02-24-2008 03:17 PM

Hi All,
My husband and I are looking for a guild. We created our own guild "Eye Patch Mafia" when we first started playing POTC back in December, but there is only the two of us in the guild - LOL. My main toon is Sydney Sanddollar (lvl 28) and my husbands main toon is Tobias O'grim (lvl 30). We usually play on Abassa server.
We are just looking to hang out with more people and have some fun. We can download whatever voice client your guild uses.

CaptainSilver 02-25-2008 02:15 AM

Thanks!

Yeah, We have our own Sub-forum Now!!!

Thanks to Captain Grizzly for the suggestion and help, and to Batleth For making it happen!!

CaptainSilver 02-25-2008 02:25 AM

Time Zones

One of the first things I want to do is;
I'm going to start threads for time Zones as members join from that zone.
It's fine to want a guild without childish rudeness, it's quite another when no one is on at the same time as you. What good is the guild to you then?
I hope if the guild grows, we'll have representatives from the different zones, or a type of sub-sub-forum for that zone.

We have one of our Mates - Hazumil a.k.a.; Enrique Swordsilver who is eastern time zone and plays in the a.m. hours. Anyone playing at this time, please try meeting up with him. I've played with this guy, and let me tell you, he's a good one.

Your suggestions for this sub-forum are wanted also. I hope this guild and forum will help to enhance your (and my) enjoyment of the game.

disfan_2 02-25-2008 03:24 AM

This is very cool! I am usually on anywhere from 8:30pm - 2:00am PST. Would love to sail with some of you.

Captain Grizzly 02-25-2008 04:09 AM

Grats on the sub-forum CaptianSilver, having one has been a great asset for us.

Keep up the good work and keep growing your guild! Looks like a good one!

If you ever want to meet up in game, drop me a PM and let me know when and where. I'm on EST evenings till around 11.

madgenny 02-25-2008 01:04 PM

this is such a great idea! I don't mind playing with the kids, but the conversations are sometimes lacking ;)

I am madgenny in game, I'm on between 7-10pm eastern time, unless I have a day off then I'm on all day! I'd love to join the guild. See you in game!

Shawn77 02-25-2008 08:27 PM

Hello there. Well, I'm just a teen but I'm a mature fellow and I'm not one to cause trouble or be rude with people. I thought of joining a Guild and this one seems a very good one that I find suits me best. I understand what you all mean about some of us teens or kids being rude or causing trouble since I have also witnessed these kind of things while playing many online games.

Another reason why I am looking for a guild is that I hope that I know a few people with whom I can socialize with. I don't know if it's me but it seems most of the people on the game aren't very much social.

Anyways, catch you all later.

CrimsonRabbit 02-26-2008 11:24 PM

Y'arrrgg....glad I was able to navigate the inter-network around to this forum. It's like an endless sea of journals, but lit up and hidden within this strange device I'm using...I think it's the work of VooDoo. Be wary of the magic box of information says I....yar!!

Anyway, I'm a sea-lubbin' fool who just started playing this game over the weekend. At only Notoriety 8, I spend a majority of my time out at sea. Completely fell for the high seas adventuring and have been looking for a way to take down the Navy with a good group of folks. Been asked to join many a guild in my short time out in the Caribbean, but have waited until I was good and ready and found a guild name that I wouldn't be ashamed to have underneath my title.

I believe I would greatly enjoy joining this guild as I am well mannered for a pirate and I love to help out where and when I can.

I've been considerably decent at holding my own out in the treacherous waters as far out as Cuba (so far). Filling my L.Galleon to the brim with booty each time out (even though I don't always make it back in with the load...). But I would like to try working with a crew of people that are consistant. Of the few I've boarded with, only 1 was prestine in his piratey ways, the rest were bouncin' around the boat, shooting off starboard when I've got the backside of a Navy ship off port....

But, alas, I think I've talked too much. I'll be keeping an eye out for ye'!! :piratewheelgo2:

Piratey info:
Main Character - Crimson Rabbit
Current ship - L.Galleon, "Storm Voyager"
Time on - Random times from 6pm-2am PST

Crazyguy36 02-28-2008 05:57 PM

I have the same Problem with me old crew. So you can count on me shooting at things u shoot at first. But be warned, I like to take on above lv 17 and below lv35. Better Booty you know.

smvb 03-01-2008 03:10 AM

I'd like to join!

I've been playing since my son asked me to play poker for his pirate earlier this week, and then I created my own pirate, Grace Dreadfury. I think I'm at level 11. I'm enjoying it immensely. Now If I could just find some way to do the laundry while I play....

I would enjoy helping others complete quests, and occasionally need help with mine, and of course, sailing and plundering!

Nice to meet you all! :dancetl6:

Rant thread deleted

Thank you to those who left messages on the "rant" thread. A moderator said we shouldn't have it and to use the "pirate Parley" thread to post any complaints. The thread was deleted.

I searched and couldn't find the "Pirate Parley thread, so good luck if you ever feel the need to post a problem with the game or board. However, If you have any concerns about the guild, just feel free to speak up on this General discussion thread.

Thanks for the friendly, un-rant comments you left, Krispy and Crazyguy. Sorry they were deleted with the thread.

CaptainSilver 03-01-2008 07:44 PM

I just got a private message from Batleth! He sent the following info.:

The clans with sub-forums now have their own usergroup to join.
"Clan Sub-forum Usergroups and New Rank Images!" and We have our own logo.

Go to Group Memberships to join your guild's usergroup!
http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...editusergroups

then go down and select to show your part of this group.

Thx to those who made the image and made this happen. Great idea.

And I have to say, I think the logo they made for our guild looks the coolest.
It's the Tortuga Warriors logo beside my avatar.

Svor 03-04-2008 06:11 PM

I would be interested in this guild.

I am usually on as Svor in the evs PST

Svor

Krispy 03-12-2008 11:30 PM

CrimsonRabbit 03-12-2008 11:42 PM

Svor/Krispy...nice seeing you guys on when I am....

Cap'n...do you know why that "Tortuga Warriors" thing doesn't show up under my name?

Bess 03-13-2008 12:13 AM

e'llo Krispy - race you to the shops!

CaptainSilver 03-13-2008 12:49 AM

Go to this page

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...editusergroups

You'll see a list of groups available to join. check off Tortuga Warriors.
I'll try to keep up with the approval of requests. If i get behind just send me a message and I'll get on it. After that, check the settings at the bottom where it says "You may choose to be identified as a member of the following groups" select the appropriate spot.

Angel 03-17-2008 08:34 AM

Krispy 03-17-2008 10:50 AM

Welcome Madevaine! :piratebo5:

and by the way, i'm one of those people your mother warned you about :pirate3:

Krispy 03-17-2008 10:53 AM

Well, after a couple hours of running all the navy out of kingshead with the help of Madgenny and a few others I finally made enough plunder to add a War Galleon to my fleet of ships.
Now to work on getting that War Sloop !

Thanks a ton for all the help !

Marrrrni 03-17-2008 04:06 PM

Welcome Madevaine! Give a shout out anytime you want/need help or just company. Please feel free to laugh at the inane chatter on the guild channel, we all do!

Marrrrni 03-17-2008 04:09 PM

Away for a short while

Hi all! As there was a recent update to the boss battle on Test, I'll be there for the next few days; providing there are enough Testers online to do the battle!

Crazyguy36 03-17-2008 04:20 PM

Aye, as Marrni said. If you need help, just ask. Almost forgot. WELCOME!

Well dang! Maybe I'll see ya online later this week.

Glad to hear you have a new ship, just wish I was on to help you get it. Maybe I'll be there to help you break that puppy in.

Krispy -
WAY To Go Mate! You are a mad man on this game! You have got to be one of the most dedicated players of POTC Online. Also, I really appreciate your willingness to be helpful to me and others in the game.

__________________________________________________ _____

What's been great is that it's not just Krispy, but most of you have been very helpful and fun to play with.

Some of you may not know but we also have the privilege of having a couple of members who have "been there, done that" on the test server, and in turn have been willing to bring that experience to the rest of us. Thank you Marrni, Darkrage/Stormrage, and LisaWildbones for your help in the guild.

I especially want to thank Marrni from that group, who's been online often and has generously given a helpful hand and/or advise many times.

But, everyone has been great. I'm very happy with the members we have in the guild, and some of the discussions while in-game have been more fun that the actual game!!

Thank you to all you members. You being in the guild makes the game that much more fun.

Marrrrni 03-24-2008 12:30 PM

Gee Captain, you sure know how to make a person blush! We are always happy to help out.

By the way, we have been missing you in the game!

risingstar92 03-25-2008 03:04 PM

Aye Cap'n, we are just like one big happy disfunctional online family :laughks2:

Marrrrni 03-27-2008 12:00 PM

Boss Battle is now available

Shall we all meet to help the Captain complete his final quest?

Krispy 03-27-2008 10:51 PM

WOOT!! I'm down for it anytime, I need to complete it too :pirate41:

Krispy 03-28-2008 10:42 AM

Welp, the boss battle is out and working. we ran it a few times last night. we completed it twice and i was able to unlock the new sailing skill ( you get it without spending any points for it) . Dunno what was up with the Cap'n getting ganked as soon as the fight started every time we zoned in. But don't worry Cap'n, we will keep running it till everyone gets it completed.
