Has anyone ever recieved a Crew Kit for Being an Unlimited Member
 

I know 3 months later i havent

Are we supposed to get anything?? I signed up 2 months ago...

I think the crew kit was the map.... although I expected more.

Theres the cloth map and I think a crew kit. Pre orders were the ones to get the Crew kit i think.

I was part of the testing group before they started the other part of the game for the people who bought it.... are we saoiised to get any thing too?

When I started this game, and began paying there was a message telling me I would recieve a crew kit. Would be nice to know if I am getting nothing rather than hoping I get something...

In order to receive the crewkit/map/thingy.... you had to preorder.. not just be in beta.
Everyone playing the game at that time had the option to pre-order and get the map. I had hoped that there would be an actual "crew kit"... but maybe the map is the show.

oh ok thanks for the info.... I guess I should've ordered it but I don't think my parents would want me to do that since they hold my money

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the map and the crew kit are two different things. Everyone who is unlimited I think has recieved the message that they will recieve a crew kit, whereas the map was probably just for those who preordered

I pre-ordered for the crew kit AND cloth map AND certificate of authenticity. They've only sent to everyone a map and certificate. I sent a message to POTCO about 2 weeks ago and they have not responded - they know what they've done and now they are just going to ignore it? Wow.

I just created an account and signed up for unlimited about a week ago and my confirmation email said I would receive a crew kit.

I guess that means that new members that were not in the BETA will get one.

when i paid for unlimited months ago it said u were to get a crew kit and not one person i know have gotten such a thing

If a "crew kit" does ever appear, I wouldn't expect it to be much. Toontown used to send out a "membership kit" which was simply a little poster and a page of stickers.

Any idea how many people are currently playing pirates? me either but i'm guessing alot, my point here is the cloth map shipping isn't even complete yet i got mine 2 weeks ago and called about my brothers and they told me the end of feb or (within) the first 2 weeks of march if i haven't recieved his by then the rep told me to call then and they would rush deliver because they need to get them out. my guess would be so they can start on the crew kits maybe? anyone tried live chat for a answer?

I would think they would be done by now, when I got it..it said Limited Edition #08 out of 1,000 something...

Ordered at own risk... not my problem... the game was released in the usa and a uk version to follow so call disney and give them your story mate, bet they will pull the plug on your account quickly.

The last thing posted on the disney site states that the first 3500 pre-orders would recieve limited edition cloth maps and a crew kit with contents unknown to follow. that was back in October when it went live.. I got my map a few weeks ago and I got number 2410 of 3500..

i am sure that disney will do what other MORRGs are doing and not send out crew kits until the first major expansion release happens.. and since the newest chapter was just realesed i bet they are on thier way soon.. I am hoping for the black pearl models they sent to all the media centers last fall.. so hey rally up all us pre-order pirates what number is everyone :-)

I never got no crew kit, but I did get a map thing. Maybe you should try contacting them about it?

noe got a crew kit other than the people with maps even though the site still says u get a crew kit when u upgrade

but if its some dumb poster and stickers like toontown people got thats going directly in me trashcan :stgrin:

I am sure it will be some kind of poster.. or sometime game companys send out little keyboard overlays, but for anyof us with gameing keyboards they do no good LOL.. but yeah I went today and read through the whole TOS at POTCO and the pre-order thingy i got months ago when u all did and after falling asleep from bordom 3 times lol It looks like it comes down to this.. they extendded the preorder as we all know and it clearly stated each person who signs up for unlinited before the game wnet live will get the map the certificate and a crew kit. and there is a little star next to it on the website and the star at the bottom says * contents unknown. This tells me that disney plans on giving us something, but maybe didnt knwo how well the game would do so they, didn't know what to give us at that point.. maybe now they do.. but it might be months till we find out lol..

I spoke to one of the folks on live chat. Here's the facts:

1. If you preordered, you got the map. It is not the same thing as the crew kit.

2. If you sign up for unlimited access, you get a crew kit.

3. The crew kits are near preparation completion and Disney will begin sending them out shortly. Nobody is as of yet clear as to what is in them, not even the live chat guy, just that they're definitely coming.
