I'm just sick of the game. I love playing it, but I can't play for bugs anymore. Too many people/not enough oceans, can't sail for boats spawning ontop of mine, can't fight for the lvl 0 bug, endless amounts of lag; It's just not worth it anymore. I'll still be here, I'll still be writing the report, but I'm not playing the game till you can play it.

Sorry you have decided to leave - I have deemed the game "boring" overall as well, but I still get enjoyment from helping others when I have nothing to do. I believe the game has potential and I will stick around until that potential shines.

I plan to come back when "potential shapes", but if Disney keeps following their TT/POTCO strategy of dealine over playability, I don't expect much.

Anyone who's on my list may see me on from time to time, but I promise you it won't be alot at all.

Right now I'm on giving it one last shot, if nothing improves that's it for me. I just wanna make sure it's the game and not just one of my uncountable curses. (I swear the name Ironmalley is a curse keeping me out of all water.)

Instead of post a new thread since this one's partway dead, I'll just bump. As of today at 6:15PM, my founder's status and game status is cancelled. Bye to all my friends, I probably won't be on again. This wasn't due to the game, this was due to my very considerate guildmembers and 99% of my friends who insist there life is horrid and that I hate them and act like 2 year olds. I love the game, and I love you all here at POF, but I can't stand listening to all of that.


PS: If an admin reads this, could you please take me off the clan leader list? The Pirate Report sub-forum is up to you, I may still run it I may not, but for now I can't promise anything.

Really sorry to see you go, Jack. I really will miss you, you were a great friend and a great pirate. Hope you come back some time.

Being a guildmaster is a tough thing to do. I would never want that title. But maybe instead of quitting the game, you can try other things.

You can try joining another guild, and enjoy playing the game with no drama. Keep those friends that you really value.

You can also recreate yourself. So what if you start a pirate over, if you enjoy the game, but don't enjoy some of the problems you've had, it might be worth starting over.

It's not just the game rose, it's real life too and the game just topped it off. I have no self confidence anymore, I admit to it, and I'm going to get help.

I feel like everyone treats me like dirt, I KNOW everyone that I play baseball with thinks I'm weird(Yet I'm faster and I play better than they do...), my 5 year old sister treats me like I'm 2 years old(:strolleyes:)...I bet a lot of people's lives are like that. So I'll basicly never see you again?

I cancelled today as well. Ive had enough of this torture they call a game...at least for now.

Too bad, I liked the naval combat. But thats all I liked basically. The rest of the game was horrid in every way I could possibly imagine.

My kids agree, this game is the worst.

I also canceled my account this morning along side two of my guild mates. This game is plagued with bugs and the failure of their customer service amplifies the problem. Maybe Disney will get the hint and pull things together, then again with AoC, WAR, and WoTLK hitting the market this year it would probably be financially sound for them to just scrap the game.

If Disney scrapped it, they'd save a lot of money. If they think they can pull things together, they'd make a lot of money.

Something they could do to save a lot of money is close the Test server all week except for Monday (the least busiest day), and close the Open server on Monday. From Tuesday to Sunday, create new features, and on Monday, put it in the Test server.

If all goes well on the Testing Monday, the following week the update is placed in the Open server. That gives them a free week to create new features and put it in Test. If this goes on for about a month, I'm sure people will be much happier with the game, and probably re-open their subscriptions.
