Well, I am bored and I thought I'd post this. When I dissapear on the weekends at night, here's the kind of fun we go have:

About 2 1/2 mins into it is where we enter. Yellow Z06 and Black Cobra. Just a night on the town with us having some fun. BTW, the camera man/vid editor of the second vid was only 15!!

Rock on girl! I love streeters! I used to do a little myself when I ran my 1994 Mustang GT with the Saleen package. She was hot but not as hot as your vette! Smokin'! :jackhat:

Nice cars! Fords are ok, vettes are pretty cool though. I've heard those old Mazda Miatas are pretty fast too. I think now they're called Maza M-6's

Close, MX-5 though. M6 is BMW which are fast cars too.

The miatas make great auto-x car. For those that dont know, an auto-x is like a road course that is made up of flat paved area and cones to go around. I've had from domestics to imports and the vette is my favorite by far. It might not be the fastest I've owned, but the power and torque, not to mention the looks. Love it!!

Now if I could afford the Blue Devil, I'd sell mine in a heart beat!!

Thats the ZR1 (google it) 620 HP, 620 ft/lbs of torque, 220+MPH.:stshocked:

WOW that's a cool car. Good thing you guys get permission from the local law enforcement. I've seen people doing this without permission on perfectly open roads. One guy spun out and almost wrecked into the other guy. Trust me, a little bit of fun isn't worth jail.

LOL, true it is the ZR-1. The Blue Devil is just the code name for it. Someone on the designers team was a Blue Devil in college, and the name stuck to the vette. Here's an article on it:

I watched the top vid and it looked pretty cool. How fast are you guys going usually?

It ranges. Sometimes we do roll runs and they go from 40 mph up to 140 mph. From a dig, just to whatever it takes to get to the 1/4 mile. Fastest I've been to is 186 mph in it.

Man 186 is pretty good. Now you get a taste of what Jeff Gordon's doing in his Chevy (think he's still with Chevy). I'm not a NASCAR fan, though, PLEASE get that right. NFL, NBA, PGA, good. NASCAR, NHL, MLS, eh... no.

I assume you're using stick shifts? I know that from racing games like Gran Turismo (still didn't get 4, I've got 3 still. Good game). But, I'm too lazy to use stick, so I just go auto...

LOL. Stick is good actually if you race in the mid 10's and up. However most drag race car will be an auto with a linelock (Way to launch at higher RPMs) or launch control. Autos are better in some ways due to the fact that you cant miss a shift. I prefer the Stick (and the Z06 only comes manual). I hate actually driving an auto now (unless i'm in heavy traffic, then I will choose auto anyday!).

My father actually wanted to get me introduced with John Force. His daughters are the drag racing team with Funny Cars. He came locally to visit family and film a show here. My dad had some thinkin that he could get him to possibly sponsor me lol. Would be nice, but never gonna happen. Hes got enough daughters to mess with, dont need another woman racer lol.

Based on everything you know about cars, and how much I know, and that you know WAY more than me, I'd say you're a racer worth sponsoring. GL in your next races!

The corvette (new one) is ZR1, no hyphen, to defferentiat from the old ZR-1.

lol yeah, that was just one of the ones I could find real fast. No matter what it's gonna be called, I cant wait to get my hands on one. Maybe a tax write-off for my business :) I do need a C6 test vehicle lol.

My grampa has a C6, a crimson one. And my friend's dad has a black on black 911 turbo convertible. :stcheesy:

I might not have a sportscar but I dropped a cleavland engine into my 1994 Ford f-150...I smoked an Evo in it so I guess the engine worked out for me.

EVO was a 10 sec car by the time we sold it lol. Definitely not stock.

Did you sell the S2000?

Unfortunately I had to sell the S2000. I couldnt drive around with the top down during the day, and if I did I would have such a bad burn no matter what sunblock I used. So I upgraded to the Z06.

Hmm...do any of ya'll play Xbox LIVE? There is a game called Forza Motorsports 2, and it has over 300 different cars to choose from...including a ZO6. And every car you all have mentioned here. It's really fun...at least I don't have to pay to play it...:laughks2:

The lingenfelter is nice. I just dont like the price of it. I would love a lingenfelter Zo6 though. Yummy!!! :drool:

Lingenfelter makes some monster cars, but is still just one of many tuners like Brabus, Saleen, Hennessy, Roushe, i can keep going if you like.

Ah there are some beautiful cars on there. I know the guy that bought our red SC vette just totaled his lingenfelter vette. Why would he go buy a faster car if he already totaled his last one, dunno, but hey, best of luck to him! At least its got the safety stuff on it! Like I always say, "Go big or go home!"

Sorry to spoil the chevy party but I do enjoy my 2005 DODGE VIPER COPPERHEAD! But on a nice summer day they both are WINNERS! HAVE Fun ! Peace
