Clan Sub-forum Usergroups and New Rank Images!
 

The clans with sub-forums now have their own usergroup to join. The clan leader and perhaps 1 assistant will be doing all user approvals to join their clans. Once you've joined, you'll be able to mark that usergroup as your display group so you can have a rank image of their guild on your posts. This is much like the Ranter or Book Club rank images that I'm sure many of you have already seen. Go to Group Memberships to join your guild's usergroup!

*Note To Clan Leaders - If you wish an additional person to help you with approvals to join your usergroup, PM me with their exact username so I can add them. Be sure to include which clan you are from, just to make it a little easier on me..lol.

*2nd Note to Clan Leaders - Click on Group Memberships in your userCP. At the top of the new page will be a section where you do user approvals. This is also where you can deny clan membership. You are able to expel anyone from your clan at any time by looking at your group's membership. No mods will interfere in your usergroup's memberships so you must maintain this on your own!

EDIT: Noticed that only Angel, PirateAhoy, and I have the new Clan Leader usertitle. Everyone else still has the regular one. I'm assuming they change the next time we log on?

I was also wondering if I'm meant to have the founder tag, is that specific to these forums or is it supposed to show users with a founder account?

The POF Founder name has nothing to do with POTCO. The founder title on POF is for anybody of the first 5,000 members to join POF.

How do we get the tag? Like for our guild The Elite Circle, I saw the one that was created. Wondering how to implement that under our names

I guess accept yourself into the group.

Of course, you should aready be in it, and all you have to do is replace "clan leader" with that tag. ^^

No, but I'm sure if we all asked nicely Bat may be able to fix it.

Personally though, I don't mind. If he can though and all the other clan leaders want it, I'll sign for it too. ^^

Sorry, that's just not possible at this time. It's actually a small glitch between usergroups and the rank system. We've got a major update coming up soon to vB and it may fix that.

Hmm, I didn't think it was a glitch, but more just the way Vbulliten was programmed. I guess that's a bit reassuring for everyone, including mods like tep, that want a diff tag to represent them but should stick out with a name that is easy to find and contact if necessary. ^^
