Speculation of what booty we be trading
 

So... what Piratical items do ye swabs think that we might be trading on the high seas? Ye can also speculate about what the trading ssytem itself will be like, and about what the trade window will look like!

But anyway, your speculations please?

That's just some of the main things I think they will sell. Well, maybe not gold LOL but i just had to put it on for hopes lol.

Yeah I really hope we can trade money. That is one of the largest faults of VMK.

Well, you can trade on VMK through the Quest Kiosk.

( if you have 20,000 to spend before you actually trade the money )

And of course there's that little thing concerning going against the VMK values when you do that......

So techinically speaking, you can't trade credits on VMK ;) Technically.

So trading of gold in Pirates Online would be sweet.

Yes, technically we can't trade credits on VMK so yes trading gold would be nice but we probably wont lol. What pirate wants to tade gold? Well, maybe for rum LOL but what else?

But other than that, we will probably just
trade special coins, like ones with skulls or
ships on them.

Costumes, hats, ships, swords?

Navy Suits. Only thing I would pay for.

Last night a few of my guild memebrs and i were messing around using the trading system we traded gold and weapons and a ship so far but then again the NPC's are not dropping goodies yet so there is nothing else yet.. the Dev's ned to start the loot dropping so we can go sell the **** to the r merchants in town to get money..

ay maybe ye be tradin a we lass and some rum of the capn and a cannon to kill!

Im really hoping for the clothes to be tradeable :D

Maybe we could trade the things under "Valuables" and "Odds and Ends" I'm not really sure what they do, but they could be worth trading for. The only other reason I can see to trade is for items from events. POTCO has said that they will have events, but I am not sure if there will be special items. Because there are only a few different items in comparison to other online games, in the time that you could post that you wanted a ship you could already be halfway to having the gold to buy one.

I have a lot of strange stuff under "odds and ends" and "valuables". I'd be willing to trade any of that, including the gold teeth and rogue paintings for a "first mate"

I think being able to trade gold would be a VERY bad idea, tis attracts all the farmers and ruins the economy of the game. few days later youll be seeing new players buying 100k warships because they went off and bought the gold of some site that farms it. (for the record i have no idea if there are warships, im just making an example, you know? xD)

Having new cloths to trade, that would be awsome, or perhaps in time a custom way of building ship add-ons such as sails, ship heads and other things that could be traded off.

Far as i've seen the weird items collected are not sellable or tradeable. why are they there? Ha not a clue. makes you wonder what they have planned though.

A balance trading system is KEY to a perfect economy.

Hell, there is NO WAY im going to be trading me rum though! tis mine alone! Argh!

I would trade for ships, rum, clothing, and weapons. Gold is so easy to get I can get over 300 in five minutes lol. I have a total of 3,267 gold atm, nothing good to buy atm lol.

I would trade for a hat, some mercenaries, cannons, broadsides, and more crew member slots. Imagine: a Ship lines with cannons and broadsides: With every cannon manned and with crew to spare.

Cannons, broadsides, a REALLY big gold lined hat, a large crew, a bigger ship then the puny ones we have now =). Oh yeah, and rum. Lots and lots of rum :skull:.

after playing in phase 1 i now think the most important thing to trade for is potions or something to help you. I hate having to leave in the middle of forest to buy potions. I like attacking the stronger enimies so I need elixiers lol

Weapons
Ships ( Okay, I doubt we will be able to trade ships, But, still it's not a bad idea either)
Ammo ( For pistols and cannons )
And Potions or other useful items
