Hurrah! At least there's one horrific exploit of the game checked off the list! Rum all round!

richfireskull 01-24-2012 07:18 PM

Yay no more server resets I hope.

william kid 01-24-2012 07:20 PM

BUT BUT BUT...... what are all the people on Abassa Tortuga gonna do now??????????

:laughks2:

WOOT nice to see a common issue going away

Great to see that they are moving forward with fixes even though there is no new content update. I hope they don't stop so when new content does arrive, there will be less pressure on them.

Good to see that the PvP glitch is since that is a big one. I hope the server crashes/resets do stop as they have been getting really annoying and sometimes not even doing something because you might loose it all with server resets.

Still waiting for those Swift Foot, leadership, boarding permission, etc... to be fixed though.

I want to see the thing where when you use Ramming Speed or Full Sail it doesn't work every time fixed..

Aye... That happens when you use leadership to reload your skills faster(unless there is a new way now). I hope that they do fix it since they started working on fixes along with other bugs.

Idk how to do the PvP glitch but i believe you. Kind of doubted that they fixed it completely since this has been around for as long as PvP.

Jello743 01-25-2012 03:19 AM

They have always tried to fix it since '07. I've been using the same way ever since. I never tell any body otherwise it will get fixed. I thought somebody by now would have figured it out. Nope. 5 years since I founded it, no body knows. Always works :)

Ok mate ye a special pirate. Now report it so it can be fixed. Be part of the solution, not the problem!

Cannonfury 01-25-2012 03:50 AM

pvp glitch is not a problem.. it doesnt hurt anyone. It doesnt gain any advantage in the game. Only people who choose to pvp glitch can be hurt/KO. It's just for fun

Agreed.

It really takes one word to know if it's a problem or not. That word is glitch. You can argue otherwise as much as you want but by definition it's a problem. It's not intended by the developers and it should be fixed as all bugs/glitches should be fixed.

Jello743 01-25-2012 05:00 AM

Thank you but i'm not reporting it. It's my glitch, I love it! :)

Nate Swordwalker 01-25-2012 08:24 PM

I wonder if this close for maintenance is going to get rid of PVP glitch on live now!

Crimson Rose 01-25-2012 09:21 PM

Three hours down to do an update!?

When I was in programming, you did your changes on a parallel system, tested it six ways from Sunday on a beta version, then you had 5 minutes to load it at 3:00 in the morning!

Of course, I'm only peeved because they chose to take the system down during my prime play time.
