Go to any tailor and enter the store. Click on hats and the first option will be for the free green tri style hat.

Starting today a free hat (color green) is available
at cloth shop for a week. Maybe this is meant for
those who don't have enough gold yet.

Ooo! Will they be releasing a bunch of items like VMK? :D

Seems like they're heading towards having rare like VMK. But you can only buy one of each item.

Nay, but probably during VMK beta, the "beta" that there is today probably didn't look as you say "interesting". But look at it now, it's wanted like the end of the world lol.

The only disapointing thing about this is, that it's on the Test not the Open. Maybe they'll do the same thing for the Open server?

It's stupid looking and it won't be like green flips because it's only on the test server and since items are untradeable, it doesn't really matter.

But, the POTCO Staff say they are going to put in trading sometime :). So it kind of will be like green flips lol.

They weren't that popular during beta, I don't think. I've looked at pics, and not many people wear them, maybe because some didn't like them?

If they do it on test then they're gonna put it out on open too for sure. But I could really care less if they do anyways....

:vshocked: Good Morning pirates, well it looks like the green tri point hat is gone and replaced by a skull and crossbones bandana type hat as of 2am this morning. This is what happened.... since i have a few different accts on test i waited to get the free green hat for one of my pirates last night so i went to the tailor to add and it wasnt there anymore but replaced by the black head do rag...which i thought was really cool plus now i can go on my main test pirate and now add it which would give me now another free hat blah blah blah.... :vhuh:

i log on and she's wearing her free green hat i bought the day before...so thats cool right? i add the "new" free hat and end up losing the green hat and now have 2 black pirate skull cap?? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Now i'm kinda sorry i added the second free item because i lost the first even tho the black head gear is cooler than the green pirate hat but i certainly don't need 2 of em!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Hmm not sure if I want to buy the black hat now. But I'll try it since it's just a test pirate right? lol

Maybe it's a bribe cause they haven't fixed anything yet.

The hat looks stupid. :(

Today's hat was a black headband (bandana?) with the skull and crossbones on it. The strange thing was that after I accepted it, I had two headbands, one with green and one with white and I had lost the green hat I had been given yesterday. I reported it as a bug.

This free hat is bugged.

I got one (the bandanna), and it replaced the green pirate hat (which I really liked) and then added an extra bandanna. So now I have two bandannas (which I don't like them), and no green pirate hat.

I have reported this with a pic, hopefully I get one of each hat.

I don't dare do this to my other pirates, in fear of losing the hats again lol.

Somehow I went to the shop and the free hat was a Black Bandana with the Skull logo on the sides, front, and back.

So, does anyone still have the green hat? I hope it comes back out, cuz when I heard it came out it was already replaced by the bandana. So, I'm stuck with one bandana and no green hat. My favorite color is green :(

hmm odd...

They've removed the free hat as of last night's update. Though no new release notes, they made a lot of changes to what is on sale. Different items being sold per island now.

To add on to Batleth's post...

At Tortuga, there are a range of normal bandanas and a new large leather hat.

At Port Royal, there are only normal bandanas and a light brown large sailor's hat.

At Padres Del Feugo, there is a special, new fancy captain's hat and the light brown large sailor's hat.

I'm not so interested in the other clothes, but I believe that there are designated shirts and etc. at each store.
